nice job. this is going to be a great tournament I can't wait. You did a good job with the brackets. That many good teams makes that job very hard I'm sure. I want to stidy the brackets a while before I pick who I think will break bracket. The biggest thing to me was to try and honor all requests, to avoid having teams play duplicate games in group play from their regular season schedule (I think DeRidder v Ruston is the only repeat game and I'm sure they both want another shot at each other). We also had our teams that could play on Thursday night and we had to have 2 of those in each group. This was very hard, but I think we got it pretty fair.

The brackets look great coach! Can't wait to see how it all breaks down!
Goat, I can't believe you watched DeRidder play twice and didn't come over and say hello! Always like to meet my fellow posters when possible! Will be out in full force cheering for my Dragons at Copa next weekend!! Looks like there will be some interesting games played all around though.

fave's seem to have one group game a day, except Vandy they have a 3pm friday game. Ruston and DHS have early sat. sched(8am), then turnaround and play the fave's from GROUP B two hours later(10am). having to play TCH & Menard on less than 1 hour of rest after giving your all against each other is hard for anyone, but if anyone can pull this off it will be the dragons. before you say or think it, it's not complaining it's just noticing.

Fifa the one good thing is by streching the tournament over three days it allows you to have a quarter final match. That allows 4 more teams to advance. With the field so loaded it will make for real good soccer. 16 of the top 20 will be there so this should be a great chance for people to get a feel for how the div's. stack up. My pre tournament favorites are St Louis and Vandy. OK Lafayette area teams I said it so please prove me wrong!

Wow...what a line up..this is going to be a great tournament! It will be the first time Ruston has traveled down south for a tournament, we are so pumped it's beyond compare. We feel excited about the draw...it's going to be very tough (Numbers 5,6,and 7 from Division II, and #2 from Division III) and a great test for our kids. We're happy to see DeRidder again (didn't know it would be so soon), the match between our teams was electric and should call for another thriller (assuming both teams are awake at 8, I might still be asleep, lol).
Great job Coach...me and my boys plan on spending as much time at the fields as possible! I can't wait to see all this great soccer!
Good luck to all competitors, I look forward to meeting a lot of new people!
