Def picks= Randal from Shreve, Cabos from Jesuit, Lawrence from Dutchtown, Adrain Mcginus from St. Paul's. Others i would add in there like Shwartz from Jesuit, Scott from Brother Martin, Petro from Jesuit and of course the obvious best goalie in the state and probably the whole south, Joe Hart from Jesuit. there are a few others that stand out, but these are my main picks.

I have watched all of the players mentioned above and they all deserve it. Also Blandin from Caddo and Gray from Shreve are also good candidates. I also think Ricky Lawrence from Dutchtown should be player of the year.

I would take Tarbel from Fontainebleau over Joe Hart. You cant forget about TJ Freeman from Vandy either.

Parker weeks for pineville scored 50 goals this season many against quality opponents: 4 against deridder, 2 against Ash, 4 against caddo magnet. Parker is a great striker with amazing vision and the ability yo score from practically anywhere. He's a senior and one of the 2 reasons Pineville had a good season.
Chris wheelis controlled pvillea back line. Very intelligent player who sees the whole field and usually knows what his opponent is doing even befor his opponent does. Also a senior and saved numerous goals while also being a sometimes scorer from the sweeper position.

My two cents - I can only speak for Shreve. Mid - Monsour and Gray. Foward - Randel. Defense - Calhoun , Keeper- Wisby. 1st team, 2nd team or honorable mention, all of these should be somewhere in the mix. Honest opinon - Randel, Monsour and Calhoun - 1st team Gray, and Wisby - 2nd team.

As far as players from Captain Shreve that IMO should make this team are Monsour, Gray, and Randle. And I believe all 3 are 1st teamers.

Juan Torres from West Monroe. Scored 35 goals this year with numerous assists as well. Played up top when we need to score, and center mid when we needed to control the middle. Unmatched ball skills and uncanny passing ability. He is relatively unknown because he only played club ball one season. Anyone who has played against us or has seen him play can vouch for his talent.

Marshall Deaton for Lafayette should no doubt make All-State first team Defense. He has that Lafayette D very organized and composed and is one of the main reason Laffy beat us in the Semis.
The forward's position could be occupied by any one of these: Alex Blandin, Connor Randel, Ricky Lawrence (MVP), Alexi "Hellenic Glory" Petrou.
As for midfield: I say someone from Lafayette deserves it, that Gallet kid if he is even considered a midfielder or a forward ( I couldn't tell haha) and McInnis and Cabos are favorites as well.

my bit... Shreve - Randel and Monsour 1st team, if they're not, it's a joke Calhoun - could easily be first team, but the fact that they played a flat 4 this year instead of sweeper may hurt him Magnet - look at Blandin and Abdehou Jesuit - Cabos 1st team
Other than that I don't know much about the teams this year

POY--either Cabos (just a straight awesome player and leader) or Randel (also awesome, and the three consecutive playoff hattricks are unbelieveable--never seen before and will be hard to see again). Interesting that neither of these guys will play in the State Championship game. Coach of the year--my vote goes to the guys at Lafayette--getting your team to improve and then play thier best at the end of the year is key. They did the best job
