StrikersJordan Schwartz - Jesuit Connor Randel – Capt Shreve Ricky Lawrence - Dutchtown TJ Freeman – Vandy Catholic Jordan Scott – Brother Martin MidFieldersJustin Portillo-Grace King Bryce Luquet – Brother Martin Steven Cabos - Jesuit Alex Blandin-Cadoo Magnet DefenseAlex Brignac – Jesuit Bryce Luquet – Brother Martin Jordan Schwartz - Jesuit Jordan Scott – Brother Martin KeeperJoe Hart - Jesuit not all the players listed are in the same div. One more thing any all state list that doesn't include Will Monsour is bogous in my opinion. I could make a good arguement for Will as the MVP of D1, He should be a lock for 1st team all state!

Last year's Division I All State Team was notable as much for who was on the team as who was not, particularly from Lafayette, for those who want a quick reminder:
1st Team
Forwards
Brennan Randel- Captain Shreve Charles Kleinschmidt- Jesuit
Midfielders
Zach Kelly- Caddo Magnet Patrick Mullins- Jesuit Stephen Cabos- Jesuit Adriam McInnis- St. Paul's
Defenders
Trevor Credeur- Acadiana Will Monsour- Captain Shreve Trey Kramer- Jesuit Joey Mingo- St. Paul's
Goal Keeper
Ian Hanion- Dutchtown
MVP- Brennan Randel- Captain Shreve
Coach of the Year- Matt Smith (Captain Shreve)
With Lafayette in the finals this year, it would seem those names being put forth from the Lafayette area would get strong consideration. From the northshore, Adrian is an easy choice, but Tarbel in goal has credentials just as strong.

Vandy and ED White are DII and DIII respectively. Accordingly, T. J. Freeman should be All- State, just not for DI.

Few of the players from Bonnabel and Grace King should be on 1st and 2nd teams, Like Justin Portillio, Enrique Escobar and more? Portillo is an amazing player. But he missed a couple of games this year. Including the playoff game. All-state should be credited to those who were there 99% of the season. Enrique is a great player and should definitely get some all-metro credit. He's just on a team with little to no prestige. Not many people have seen him play.

I think the Goalie from Lafayette should be given consideration for All State. If you watched the Lafayette Shreve game Randle, Monsour , Gray unloaded on him and he made some saves that were totally unbeliveable.

I posted this on the lhs/jesuit thread, but i think it may have been lost in all the clutter
Lhs players for all state consideration: 1)Lance angelle should be number one on this list. He was a captain for this team and he was also the best player. He was one of the only lions last night that played with no fear. Everyone was playing not to make mistakes, he was playing to make something happen. 2) Marshall deaton- great defender on a pretty stout defense and also one of the emotional leaders of the team 3) Blythe Frederick- Every time i watched the lions this year, i came away very impressed with Blythe. He plays with great intensity and flare 4) Dillon gallet- Probably the best physical specimen on the team. He's got decent size and great speed. If he's on his game he's near impossible to stop

Why Justin Portillo?,,,, Bryan Diaz #14 is a better player for King.

all of jesuit should be allstate...none of these players beat us, why should they matter? well I think, no I know Randle would start for Jesuit, probably in your spot. Monsour would start, Ricky would get tons of playing time. Heck Saboe from Acadiana would start or get tons of time on that team as well. Reality Stryker thats what I like to deal in reality.

Parker weeks for pineville scored 50 goals this season many against quality opponents: 4 against deridder, 2 against Ash, 4 against caddo magnet. Parker is a great striker with amazing vision and the ability yo score from practically anywhere. He's a senior and one of the 2 reasons Pineville had a good season. Chris wheelis controlled pvillea back line. Very intelligent player who sees the whole field and usually knows what his opponent is doing even befor his opponent does. Also a senior and saved numerous goals while also being a sometimes scorer from the sweeper position. Can lsu rebel or someone give us a total on Parker weeks goals that year? This says. 50. i also know Michael Hollier, Alvais Coronel, and TJ Freeman should be on the total goals, lists as well as freshmen.
