A big congratulations to Steven Cabos for MVP...what an honor! That's a pretty amazing player to be voted MVP when you were injured the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals! Get well soon, Steven, we need you back out there on Lakeview ASAP...
And I am thrilled that Hubie Collins got Coach of the Year that he so truly deserved! Kudos to the coaches for voting fairly!
Congratulations to Connor, Will, Logan and Alex B! I looked at the list of 1st team and didn't see any that I could say don't belong on there. I do truly think that Alex Blandin should be there, but his team's poor showing didn't get him the exposure that he needed. I hated it for him his senior year but I know he has big things ahead anyway! Christopher Lawrence and Jordan Gray should have at least been 2nd team in my opinion, too!
Also, Congrats to all the Jesuit players who made it and are friends of my sons. Great players and it is hard to leave any of them off. Should have had more Lafayette players but the same thing happened last year...for some reason the Laffy area coaches don't vote and it is really leaving their players out to dry. If 17 coaches voted and only 3 Lafayette coaches, you can understand why more of them didn't make it.

Copngrats to all that made it. Others that I thought were deserving...Andrew Tarbell at Fontainebleau, Stephen Baudean at Covington, and Justin Portillo at Grace King.

ok maybe this wont sound as bad..you said that just because the kids wear a jesuit jersey gives them an unfair headstart to getting all state and thats ridiculouls they are on there because they are all deserving and like i said earlier brignac cabos hart and shwartz are locks..the other two are deserving also though and its unfair of you to say they only made it because they play for jesuit

Anyone know where Cabos, Gray, Blandin and Monsour are playing next year?
I heard Monsour is headed to West Point but I'm not sure.
Any specifics would be appreciated.

AB, (I heard), might give a shot at a professional career over sea's. I wish him nothing but the best if this is true. A great kid that should have gotten more recognition this year. Monsour (from what I have heard), is still looking at West Point but it is not a lock. Man Monsour and B. Randel would be great for West Point. I heard Gray was talking to William Carry (sp), and one or two other schools and as already reported Cabos is just a JR this year.

Pretty sure Grey has committed to William Carey.
Word is that Blandin is trying to go play somewhere in Bulgaria (as I've heard). Wish him all the best.

I have never heard of this kid but if he is getting offers from over seas, why is he on second team?

I have absolutely no problem with Joe Hart being the 1st team Keeper. But, next to him, who was better than Austin Wisby for Shreve. He started in 30 games, allowed only 11 goals, had 19 shut outs and made it to the semi finals. Not to mention Shreve played in the top 3 tournaments in the State. Dutchtown, St. Louis Showcase and St. Pauls. In 30 games games, no team scored more than 1 goal against us. Voting is over and it's water under the bridge, but he was at worst, 2nd team and the most deserving, IMO.
