congrats to hollier it was well deserved and this disproves the theory on the d-3 thread where everyboedy was proclaming that only state champs could produce the mvp.

Congratulatons to all the boys who made all-state and especially to Michael, Ryan and Luke Nicholls. I feel that Chad Smith deserved this honor as well, but the voters have spoken.

Congratulations to all the players and what class to have two well deserving coaches as Coach of the Year! Some great players were left out but I am assuming it was a difficult task.

I think that almost everybody that made it deserved it this year. Played with most of these players it not all and each should definitely be on there. Congrats to MIke Miller, MIke Hollier, Adam France, and Zach Drouilhet.

A different day at a different time with a different set of coaches could have different results! every player contributes to soccer, you can not score a goal unless someone passes, that is always overlooked.

Of course different coaches might of had different results. Your comment just shows how little you know about the boys chosen. NOT ALL OF THEM ARE SCORES AND STRIKERS!!!

Aren't you being alittle rude? I do happen to know many of the players chosen and as I stated earlier, very happy for them. I am entitled to my opinion as you are. Please do not insult my intelligence. I happen to be an educated person and my child plays premiere soccer. The statement I put there was told to a group by someone highly respected.

Yea I’m just a rude ole goat that also has an opinion. Your statement insinuated that only scorers made the team and other players like defenders didn’t make the team, and that is just not true. Please by all means post your opinion and I will continue to post mine.
From reading your past post it looks like you are a Vandy fan. Please ask the mom and dad of the all state goalie about me. Maybe even ask JJ’s dad or even Matt’s dad who I have had the pleasure to meet. You might find out I’m not that bad a person. That being said I am like the St Louis coach however, passionate about the sport of soccer and my passion comes through in my post! If you were offended I apologies but you need to be a little thicker skinned if you want, (and I hope you do), to continue posting on this board.

Anyone know where Michael Hollier is playing next year? Surely a state MVP and a region III pool player is looking at a Division I collegiate program.

I am a Vandy fan along with many other schools. I gather, Goat, you are a coach and must have voted? I am very thicked skinned, as you put it and I don't feel the need to ask others. OO and yes I will be making future postings!

judging from the number of posts, the areas covered and the strength of opined convictions, I do not believe Goat to be a coach-not recently. Very involved,-yes.Adequately knowledgeable-for sure. Passionate-no doubt. My best guestimation: near the action, knows those involved, seen many games. Conclusion---ref. Many years, many friends, privy to the "workings" of the way things get done.
