thank you to St. Louis Catholic. Very good team we played. 1st half was completely dominated by St. Louis. Loyola came out stronger in the 2nd half and had some opportunities to tie it up. Loyola's goalie had the game of her life. 2nd goal came towards the end of the 2nd half. The speed of play and deep bench (with extremely frequent subbing) of St. Louis were a challenge that we could not overcome. The better team won today. Good luck for the rest of the playoffs. Oh, and the ball boys were good too!

Thank you Teurlings Catholic for a TERRIFIC game! Your hospitality was so genuine and appreciated and your competition was FIERCE: my daughter is Calvary's GK and she REALLY earned her keep with all the work that she did to keep our net clear! We wish you the Best of Luck in the next round. Your Lady Rebels certainly earned the advance!

Great soccer setting at Clark Field tonight! Thanks to TCH for an amazing game. There are some incredible players on that team. I saw some ball handling that caused my jaw to drop on more than one occasion.
I would also like to comment on the stellar play of our keeper. As I said to her, and anybody else that would listen, she put on a clinic. I don't know how many she blocked, but it was a lot. That kid has such a bright future.

miraddydad , more soccer
Thank you from TCH for the kind words. It was a great high school soccer game. Both teams played hard & with passion. I am certainly a fan of Coach Shelly & the Lady Cavs !! They are young, skilled & disciplined. The Lady Cavs goalie (Olivia Branis) has a tremendous game & made many quality saves. I enjoyed talking to a few of the Parents after the game. I will certainly pass on the compliments to our TCH Girls. As a side note, EVERY single Lady Cav personally made it a point to thank our TCH parents for the food & drinks after the game. Very Classy ! Thanks again

Neville plays hard. They are not the most talented team, but they probably work the hardest. Lakeshore played well in the second half, but had no answer for Neville's size and Strength (The game was big 18-17 year olds Neville vs. the smaller 14-15 year old Lakeshore). Lakeshore is a smaller ball control type team in comparision to the blue collar Neville who just came out and punched them in the mouth. When the Lakeshore girls are 17-18 watch out! ***I posted this from above......."punched them in the mouth".....what a joke: this is the only way Neville won, 2 yellows and then some...... Neville's back was against the wall! If Lakeshore had 3 more minutes, they would have tied. Not taking anything away from Neville-they did win, but not easy! Good luck against Vandy, you need it.
