Lakeshore has won districts in their first two varsity season going undefeated and made it to the quarter final of nthe Division II state tournament last year.
They have a very young talented team that has not lost in a month since Coach Wes Leake has come on board.
This year the team has played a much tougher schedule as they faced Division I teams as well as within their own Division II. They have lost a total of 5 games of which 2 were against last years state Division I finalists and one other current top 10 Division I team that we tied. This year with 1 senior, 3 juniors and 3 starting freshman and 4 sophomores they completed their 2nd district schedule undefeated. The team's expectationsare high and it expects to improve upon last years' tournament results.

Calvary beat Caddo Magnet on Saturday with dominating play. Then tonight shut out W Ouachita, 5-0. Theoretically, they should move up. They've played good soccer at the end of the season.

Great win for Calvary against West Ouachita(5-0) and great result for Teurlings against St. Thomas More(3-3).

Miraddydad...agree. Calvary Girls have played good soccer lately. Impressive result against a very good West Ouachita team.

Calvary played a great game tonight. We didn't show up to play and they capitalized on it. Awesome goalkeeper I would say for a 7th grader but for any grade. They have speed and game integrity.

Teurlings Catholic tied Division I, 5th ranked STM last night 3-3. Hoping to see them move up in the rankings!

Vanderbilt seem to have had a jump in the seedings from 3 to 1 has anyone seen their games that could explain this. It means they will avoid the top teams in the playoffs

Kippo, Vandebilt went from 2nd to 1st seed. St Louis dropped from 1st to 3rd. I don't seem to understand why either. Last year the same thing happened. Teurlings was ranked #1 the entire year, then when the last poll came out Vandebilt went to first and that meant the final would most likely be played at Vande, as it played out to be. Teurlings eventually went on to beat them on their own field anyway. This year we do not have to worry because Div II will play in New Orleans for the finals. What I am struggling with about this certain situation is that this year all 3 teams have played actual head to head matches. St Louis beat both Teurlings and Vande and have ties on another occasion against the 2 teams. I really find it hard to believe that head to head matches did not hold to keep the seeding as it should have been. I have gathered some info together for the top 3 seeds. Matches played that are against same teams and actual head to head matches with results(take it like it is). Goals against averages (Teurlings has the strongest defense with a .83 GAA followed by Vande-.88 and then St louis 1.39%). and LHSAA Records(St Louis 16-4-3, Teurlings Catholic 17-5-3, Vandebilt Catholic 19-5-2). Looking at the most recent play, Interpret it like you want, but my rankings would of been: 1- St Louis Catholic 2- Teurlings Catholic (Tied STM(#5 Div I) 1/30/12) 3- Vandebilt Catholic Good Luck to all in the Playoffs!
