Don't know what happened here, but that won't stop me from opining about something many teams do. My comments include experience as ref (many years ago), and one year of playing club keeper when I couldn't play up-field because of an injury one season (very many years ago).
It seems lots of teams like to post an offensive player directly in front of the keeper on corner kicks. I've seen mucho shoving, bad tempers because of this. However, from my view, the only purpose to such positioning is to obstruct the keeper in some way.. vision, movement or communication. When the ball is played, if the offensive man in front of the keeper does not immediately vacate, he is obstructing.... and it is going to get called be cause it is so obvious what the intent was from the original positioning.
So why do so many teams insist on doing this? The defending team doesn't like it, refs don't like it, it leads to pushing, shoving, ill temper, and I've never seen it actually produce a goal, unless obstruction of the keeper is not called. It is akin to the attempt by an offensive player to force his way into a wall on a free kick.
I recommend ... don't do it.

Very unlucky goal against Episcopal. The wind took it in on a corner and it bounced off the top of the far post. Episcopal had most of the possession and opportunities but St michaels dropped to five in the back all second half. Late in the game clausen for episcopal scored from a corner and it was called back for a foul to the keeper. Controversial call. Very messy and cold game to watch. That's futbol for you. When an opponent decides to park the bus or play more defensively, you must adapt and find a way to win. EBR was unable to and they lost. Regarding controversial calls, great teams don't put themselves in situations where one call dictates The game. Don't be so quick to point fingers and make excuses. Accept the loss and move on. EBR is a classy program with a very knowledgeable and talented coach. He'll make sure that his players put this game behind them and focus on the future. They are my pick to win state this year. Go BRE!

Thanks Squeak ... was waiting for these... Some surprises here, EJ and BC tie for instance... 2-2 sounds like it was a very entertaining game. Catholic PC over Dunham was not on my radar either.

Getting ready to head out the door for our game in NOLA so just a quick look at what needs to happen in the Premier Brackets in the final round of games this afternoon. I don't have a copy of tiebreakers so there may be some speculation.
TO ADVANCE:
Group A * Winner of Beau Chene-Newman game to advance * EJ needs to beat Menard and hope other game ends in tie (yielding a 3-way tie on points) * Menard is eliminated
Group B * Winner of St. Louis-Vandebilt game to advance - tie will make it interesting since they're tied on GD (IF they tie & IF GA is the next tiebreaker after GD, then Vandebilt would advance) * Lakeshore & University eliminated
Group C * Bolton only needs a tie with St. Michael's to advance * Teurlings and St. Michael both need both of their teams to win to throw into a 3-way tie * Episcopal BR is eliminated
Group D * Winner of Northlake-St. Thomas More game to advance - IF GD is 1st tiebreaker after points, Northlake would advance with a 1 goal advantage * E.D. White & Loyola are both eliminated
