Both my heart and my brain say Sacred Heart on this one. Sacred Heart is firing on all cylinders after a slow start to the season. If the seniors have the fire in their belly, I don't see anyone denying them.

Rain. No please, for any of the games.
Loyola seems to have been tested and even considering their youth I beleive the hoopla of making the finals will be trumped by the desire to win the finals.
Their strength has been their defense and that will help them be able to get a rythm in the game to allow the offense to find an opportunity to score.

Superb coaches both. Will this be the closest game of the girls three finals? I give the nod to SH - players been there, done that MANY times,

I know nothing about the teams but a college buddy's daughter plays for Loyola so I am going to go for them. Not scientific but honest.

Know nothing about Loyola, but I know Sacred Heart has the best back line I've seen, in any division; it is going to be tough to score against them.

I will dive in on this one. I haven't seen Sacred Heart this year but they were young last year and won it all. Coach Tooraj has them playing well again at this time of year. He seems to do that every year. Loyola was very impressive and Coach Mark has them playing at a very high level even though they are young. I plan on attending and pray the weather holds off. All that being said I see the game very close. The teams will feel out the pace in the first 10-15 minutes. If the pace of the game is matched by both teams it will be very close with opportunities coming of set pieces. Both teams are deadly on corners and free kicks. If this is the case I see PKs 2-2 after OT's. I will give the nod to Sacred Heart in the shoot out only because of their experience. However if the pace of Loyola is not met by Sacred Heart back line I give the nod to Loyola in regulation 3-2. And vice versa if Loyola can't match Sacred Heart pace at the back Sacred Heart in reg 4-2. It will be a great match. Best of luck to both coaches and teams. The pace and how each team deals with it will determine this champ.

Thanks copakid for posting these up. I've been away a few days. I'm going with Sacred Heart on this one. They've been there and know what it takes to bring home the prize. Until they lose a final they have to be the favorite.

Loyola has a core group that has been playing together for a long time. They've won a state championship at the club level, and play RPL. So, they've got some experience in big games. Hopefully they step up and help calm the nerves of some of the other players and keep them focused.
Haven't seen Sacred Heart, but their reputation as a great soccer team appears well-deserved.
I'm hoping Loyola brings us a high school state championship to NWLa.

ASH forward takes on 3 defenders and beats them to put ball in net with 24 to go.
