Chase Savoie : Total goals: 36 Total assists: 9 Go to the top of the thread. There are links there to both the form and the ability to review what's been entered. Click on the Response Summary and review what you entered. Let us know what's been missed. Please also review your entire team. The protocol on this Board necessitates that your entire team participate (or not participate). The Coach should be the one signing off on anything that has been entered as stats for your team.

Did Blake Dalferes get credit for the 4 goals on Friday vs Parkview Baptist? I thought I entered the spreadsheet correctly? Thanks

Did Blake Dalferes get credit for the 4 goals on Friday vs Parkview Baptist? I thought I entered the spreadsheet correctly? Thanks Just getting a chance to review the data entry. You did enter the stats, but omitted Blake's first name. So it created another player called Dalferes who has 4 goals. I'll make the adjustment with the next round of publishing on either Friday or Saturday (after the Regional Round).

Maybe Pope got a foreign exchange student from Brazil named Dálferés. You know how they're always going by only one name... Kaka, Hulk, Neymar, Pato, Fred, Ronaldinho, and now Dálferés! It could just be a typo, but the Brazilian connection seems more probable.

Good morning p_malinch, I have not been updating at all on this thread so far this year although some of my players are in the Div.I mix.... I know that it is ultimately my responsibility and I will try to add my 5 cents this week but for the record, as the DI scoring race comes to an end, Cameron Robinson (senior) has 28 goals and 13 assists for the regular season and has added a goals and 3 assists in the playoffs. I will go to the initial post this week and update my players of note. Sorry for the inconvenience, Sean Moser - St.Pauls School

If you have an Excel spreadsheet that shows game-by-game for all of your players, I can take that as well & copy it into our file. Unfortunately the way the system is designed, I can't just take totals, but need it to be broken out by game. If it's easier on you to review what's been entered & just supply corrections, that will work as well. Thanks!

hey, I just updated all my game reports/stats on Cameron Robinson. I was about half way through when I saw that it was supposed to be last name first... so I just kept going in that way. Sean Moser

Sean Moser I changed the names to be listed correctly. A lot of those have previously been reported so I may wind up deleting the duplicates when I update stats next.

1 more week to report stats. There's only 6 teams left so I'm using next Sunday as the deadline to report before we call it final. If you have any questions, let me know. We'll have 1 more update to reflect semi results before that final one.

Leader Boards updated with stats reported as of 10:30 a.m. today (except for some corrections by St. Paul's, which will be audited & updated in the final pass).
Please try to get ALL stats submitted by Sunday. After that, it will be too late. Final audits, checks, etc. will take place.
Schedule/Results and Power Ratings data should be updated later today.

Welcome, Episcopal BR, to the Stats Reporting world! They've reported their full season (game-by-game as required) so you'll see them listed now as well.
STATUS: PRELIMINARY final statistics are published. That probably sounds like an oxymoron. It means that they are updated through the State Championships, but have not been fully audited yet so they are subject to correction. St. Paul's has a batch of corrections that still need to be processed. I'm sure others will surface this week, which is why I wanted to get a preliminary version published.
How to report a correction? So that I can try to process all that come in, here's the way you should report any corrections, please:
1) Do NOT text, e-mail, call, etc. I will ignore what comes in via those methods & reply indicating that you need to follow these steps instead (so just go that route from the start). 2) Send me a Private Message with a subject line of "Boys Stats Correction - Your Team Name" (I'm also working on Girls stats) 3) In the private message, indicate the date & the opponent for whom correction is needed - do NOT just say the total is wrong - all of the data is there for your review as it is mine - I do not have the time to be available to figure out where the data entry errors were. If there are multiple corrections, do the same for each. 4) This is the most tedious time of the year. We'll work it out, but you just need to help.
My plan is to be final, final by the weekend sometime. So if you wish to report any corrections, please do it by Thursday at the latest. Most data should've been reviewed throughout the year so this really is just a handful of teams at this point; therefore, 48 hours doesn't feel like an unfair deadline.
General questions for the benefit of all can be posted in this thread.

FYI - I took the time to use the leaderboard spreadsheet and re-rank the players based on points per game instead of total points. IMO looking at stats from only one perspective, in this case total points, does not always tell the whole story. Nothing wrong with ranking players according to total points; its certainly a valid measure of a players success. However, since there was a significant disparity between the number of games played by each team, IMO ranking players on a per game basis is a better measure of the players success relative to the field.
I only included the top 10 since there does not appear to be a way to upload an excel spreadsheet to the board and I had to type in all the information manually.
Player School Class Position Games Points Points/Gm. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Malinich, Andrew Lusher Charter Sr. MF 25 57.5 2.30 Savoie, Chase Lafayette Christian Sr. MF 19 39.5 2.08 Dalferes, Blake Pope John Paul So. FW 25 50.0 2.00 Hollier, Brock Beau Chene Sr. FW 32 61.5 1.92 Hughes, Joshua Westminster Fr. FW 21 37.5 1.79 Rogers, Dillon Benton Sr. ?? 25 40.5 1.62 Mubungirwa, Clement Episcopal BR Jr. FW 25 38.5 1.54 Mboungou, Dril Bolton Sr. MF 28 42.5 1.52 Alessandrini, Luca Lusher Charter Sr. FW 25 37.5 1.50 Anderson, Andrew Ouachita Christian Sr. FW 19 28.5 1.50

I am thoroughly disgusted. After spending all that time to type in the information in a neat, readable format, the board automatically deleted all the extraneous spaces that I inserted to make it readable and left what you see above. C'est la vie!

C'est la vie! I don't believe anyone edited your post. It would show if someone edited it and who did it. As as for ranking the players other then total points, usually loJic does a player rating every test that factors in multiple variables. Hopefully he does it again this year

When I said "board" I meant that Proboards (system/software) automatically deleted the spaces and not that any individual edited the material. Being a newcomer to LaPrep I was not aware of loJic and his player rating. I too look forward to seeing that. Sorry for the confusion.
