I'm going with STM. They have so many weapons on that team. There defense is very fast and physical, same with the offense . This will be a test for BF top 2 players. Best of luck to both teams ! Should be a great game.

I have to go with Franklin again! Would caution STM players and fans not to read too much into the Vandy 1-0 score. Watch the tape...5 or 6 near misses. That will not be the case next Friday.

Hard for me to predict this since I haven't gotten to see STM this year. They were very good in DI last year, so it's no surprise to see them near the top of DII.
Ben Franklin was tested against Vandy. In fact, it was only their second one-goal game of the season (BF beat Dominican 2-1). It was closer than I expected. Vandy seems like a young team that's improved a lot over the course of the season. They had a ton of possession during the match.
We all know that Ben Franklin has a handful of great players. In the attack their fluidity is just beautiful to watch. You can tell they know each other very well and have played together a ton. But the rest of the team is no better than any other top DII team. Ben Franklin doesn't have the program depth or the sheer number of club players that someone like Vandy or (presumably) STM does. But BF is well-coached and they know how to get it to their stars.
If STM can shut down BF's stars and force BF's backline to make mistakes, whether by possessing the ball or counter-attacking, they've got a shot. But if BF can keep the ball at the feet of their best players, they'll create chances and probably finish enough of them to win.

STM will win this one with a total team effort. Like Kevin said, BF with a handful of talent, but STM is a club dominant team.

Seems that no one so far knows enough about both teams to make a good, confident prediction. It'd be interesting to hear from someone who has seen both of them, or someone who played both of them. Ben Franklin is undefeated, while St Thomas More has been dominant since the turn of the new year. It definitely seems like the best two teams in Division II, so hopefully this match will be very exciting.
Interesting to note that BF and STM have played 3 common opponents, with the comparison slightly in BF's favor: STM lost to Dominican twice, both 0-1. BF beat Dominican 2-1. STM has two wins over Lakeshore, 1-0 and 3-0. BF beat Lakeshore 3-1. STM lost to Vandebilt 1-2, whereas BF beat Vandebilt 1-0 yesterday.
Other notable results for STM: Lost to SSA 0-3 Tied St Joseph's 1-1 Beat Teurlings 1-0 and 4-0 Beat Loyola 2-0 and 3-1 Lost to Lafayette 1-3, but later tied them 1-1.
Other notable results for BF: Basically just the 3-0 win over Sacred Heart and 5-1 over Newman.

STM Cougars can win this. They have a great group of starters and a deep bench and their defense is solid. Not just a few good players. This will be a great game to watch.

At the risk of sounding cocky, I have been looking forward to this final with Ben Franklin ever since STM announced they would be playing in Div II this year. Now that the game is here, I have absolutely no idea what to expect. Good luck to Ben Franklin, but GO COUGARS!

BF ball over the top for 6. Sliding challenge to block her shot.
STM 21 with a cross from the left, shot wide for a goal kick.

STM with a nice long throw up the line on the right...something to look out for if they get a throw deep on the right side.

STM 21 gets into the box and wins a corner. Taken short and then cleared for a throw. STM then loses possession.

BF cross cleared away. STM counters. 9 shoots from a tight angle inside the box. Side netting. Collides with a defender. Goes down, shaken up a bit. Play stopped but she's able to walk off.

About 16 min in. Fairly even. Neither team with many dangerous shots.
Just as I'm typing that, STM with a strong shot from the top of the box. Looks like it's headed just under the bar but the BF keeper jumps up and grabs it.
