Although the Northlake pic captures the emotions of an exciting time, I think I can help you with a better one.... How do I upload it?

I'll also get a new pic up later. That one's from this year's Seniors' freshman year. It brings back some great memories...

on a side note: the future of NCS looks bright. Three freshman scored tonight for Northlake, Timmy Lopez had the first, Weston Acosta had the quick freekick, and Zack Shaw had the last one. Those 3 names became very familiar that night (at least in our house). And coachm was spot on. That NCS team returned as sophomores to the championship game the next year. And now 2 years later, they're back as seniors. I heard Zack is not currently at Northlake (true?), but Mason Morise has helped to fill that void very well.

Lusher is making its first ever appearance, but has extended the appearance streak of its district in the State Championship (which goes back to 2008).
2007-2008: Newman (finalist) 2008-2009: Newman (champion) 2009-2010: Newman (champion) 2010-2011: Ben Franklin (finalist) 2011-2012: Country Day (champion) 2012-2013: Newman (finalist)

Zach did transfer back to FHS, and Max Miller (stud) has been out the whole season with an Acl injury. Very unfortunate. The two Masons, Mason Cook, and Mason M. Have been great additions to the team.
This will be a great final.

He, Mason M, Weston, and Andrew M from Lusher all play on same club team.

Aww..... com'on gents, that bit about posing was just my old foggyism and a blast from the past ... it is not a requirement nor is it written anywhere. Pose your teams however you feel comfortable. (I do especially like the picture of the Vandebilt team. Nice combo of squat, crouch, stand.) I guarantee that the first time you try to get them to squat properly, you will get a lot of young complaints from the front rank. I recommend a whip and a chair...
Decades ago when I first became aware of the soccer team pictures genre, I noticed the frequent hand to the turf in the front line... like an offensive lineman. That feature has lasted for decades and I doubt anyone knows why. It is even common on the US Woman's team photos... strange.

That pic was taken well before you posted the "rules" ... I think it was from our first Newman game this season.

This is going to be a great game. I know Northlake is a very strong team that wants a second championship badly. However, I know nothing about Lusher and don't believe either of the teams have seen each other this year. Because of this I really cannot make an educated prediction on the outcome of this game and would really like to hear from someone who knows about both teams.

Northlake has the better overall team, on paper anyway. But Lusher has two of the most dynamic players in the state and either one has the ability to change the game in a short period of time. I think k NLC wins in a close game but Im pulling for Lusher. 3-2 NLC in OT

I think that Northlake has the better team as well, but I also thought that St. Louis had the better team... I just can't see Lusher losing now. Lusher wins 3-2, maybe overtime.
