This is hilarious!
Shreve goes undefeated, without a doubt the best (or at least the most successful) team in NW La...
And they get one player named to this team? Seriously?
looking at the selections from the last 2 years, there must be some "love affair" between the Times and Loyola.
The real problems with this is that first, the soccer coverage is so poor in this market. (Hence some of the selections.)
Second, they seem to want a good "spread" so that the selections reflect their circulation numbers.
it doesn't take a genius to understand that the majority of the individual talent in the metro area lies within Division I, district 1.
Shreve should have easily had 3 or 4 players named to this team.
As well as another magnet player.

Get use to it Hall,The Times has no idea who the best players are in North La. Been that way for years. They are just trying to keep everyone happy. Seriously, the goal keeper is from a team that won just 3 games. Shreve has a keeper that won 19 games with a fairly inexperienced defense in front of him. Shreve goes undefeated in North LA. and has one player !! WOW.
