This past weekend at the La State Pre-lims in Lafayette, my daughter's U15 team, ISA Crush, competed against Mandeville Storm U15 White. It was the final game on Sunday for both teams and they both pushed the limits, ISA Crush was the eventual victor of the match and their bracket. Upon leaving the field after the game, several Mandeville players and parents came up to our players and parents and wished us well in the state playoff games. What a class act these girls are and I just wanted to recognize this quality, as you just don't often see it anymore. Cudos to their coaches and parents. Whatever you are teaching these girls, keep it up! If you know one of these players or their parents, congratulate them on a job well done!

We witnessed a lot of great sportsmanship as well in our prelims and finals. Girls helping each other up and players congratulating each other genuinely. It was truly two good weekends.
Sorry to see it end for the year.

Awesome post! It is nice to give clubs, coaches, etc recognition for sportsmanship. I would like to see more of this on these forums. Giving specific names, like the Mandeville team that was mentioned above, is an excellent way to recognize a team, individual, etc. Congrats Mandeville!

CCU vs St Charles Ajax. A CCU player ran into a St Charles player when the ball was away...not a foul, but was enough to knock her down. CCU player helped her up. St Charles parents cheered for the CCU player saying "great sportsmanship" "nice job" just being positive and recognizing the moment.
