a ref called this a goal...now according to his call he said at some point the ball crossed the line and then came back out on its own...I admit the angle from my point of view isn't the best but it does not look like the ball crossed the line and then bounced back out...I can only assume he had a better view...just putting this out to see what other people may think especially referees...game ended 2-2

It's a shame the video didn't show the AR on the far side. He would have been almost even with the goal line at the time of the throw-in based on the location of the defenders, and therefore would have been in position to call whether the ball crossed the line or not. It looks like the center ref is looking at the AR for verification before indicating the goal, so I'm assuming the AR signaled that it was a goal.
A left-footed kick from that angle could have sufficient side-spin to cross the line and then come back out. I say it's entirely feasible.
Was this from RPL games in Montgomery? Looks like one of the stadium fields at Emory Folmar Complex.

Impossible to tell from your angle. The AR on the far side would easily have the best view, as play was restarted from a throw-in that deep. The AR must have sold the call, at least enough to convince the R. But from where this video is shot from, impossible to tell.

That's a weird call, but I guess if the AR saw it cross the line. On a side note. I've had the pleasure of playing on those fields with pOkLE for the Region III Amateur Cup. That complex is awesome.
