Finals
Sulfur-2 Denham Springs-1
Wasn't able to watch, but heard it was a very good back and forth match. Hopefully someone can give details on it.
From the two previous games that I saw of Sulfur-they are very dangerous on offense with well placed balls and very dangerous on corners. Lots of speed up too with #34 being the most dangerous in the mix. Definitely a top 10 D1 team IMO and deserving of this title.

Youngest and smallest ASH team in 10 years. Two seniors on the pitch one being our keeper who has made tremendous strides for only having played 5 games in his life and a few scrimmages. Two juniors and the rest are sophomores and a freshman. 3 returning starters from last year's team. It will be safe to say we may take a little longer to find ourselves offensively but our players play with a lot of heart. It may take a few beatings here and there but watch out for ASH's future! This class has a lot of fight in them and will only give our youth the experience they need to be better. I am proud of the way these young players (who mostly played jv all of last year) have competed thus far. Very large and talented group coming up next year plus the experience that our current players are getting will put ASH back on the map.
Denham Springs is a quality team. #7 and #14 really stood out for me and will continue to make some noise in DI. We lost in the final 4 minutes of the game off of a keeper error. DS controlled most of the game especially through the midfield but our back line played well.
Leesville, another quality team drew a pk in the first minute of the game and finished well. 1-0 in the first minute of the game is heartbreaking, especially to a team struggling to find the back of the net. In my opinion, Leesville should find themselves in the top 5 by the end of the regular season if they stay healthy.

On behalf of the coaches from Pineville, I would like to thank all the teams and fans for coming out. Great weather and some great teams. Will try to make the hospitality tent bigger and better for the coaches next year. Congrats to Sulphur for winning against some quality opponents. As far as offering any assessments, I'll leave that up to everyone else except to say that we(Pineville) are a little like ASH as we are still trying to find ourselves. Some good individual play from some at times but will hopefully start to gel soon. Injury bug hit us this weekend that will probably affects us in the upcoming weeks but hoping to be full strength in time for district play. Thanks again from Pineville soccer.
