This result is confusing. Any regular season game that ends in a tie in regulation is to be reported as a tie for power rankings. In tournaments, if someone needs to advance, or a champion determined, you can play a OT. But the game needs to be reported as a tie.
And it has been reported to the LHSAA as a 2-1 OT win.

Not sure who turns in the official score for reporting to the LHSAA but it was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. Mandeville scored in the overtime period and won 2-1.

If it is on the LHSAA website, which it is, it must have been reported by the winning team. It was done incorrectly and outside of the set guidelines.
