The power center fields drain very quickly. Spectators might be standing in an inch of water, but the fields should be playable. We have only really had about an inch of rain today, have not had much rain at all lately, and it looks like it will be stopping soon. Hoping for some good games tomorrow.

Scores? Once again the "west" is slacking BIG reason why New Orleans is far better for finals. Coverage over there is non existent.

St. Michael 0 Acadiana 0
Shots on goal: Acadiana 16 St. Michael 0
St. Michael keeper single handedly secured the tie for his team. Possession 90/10 Acadiana- fields are soft but holding up decently.

Kelly 0 Acadiana 0 Shots on goal: Acadiana 16 Kelly 0 Kelly keeper single handedly secured the tie for his team. Possession 90/10 Acadiana- fields are soft but holding up decently. That is absolutely not true. Possession was 75-25 at most in favor of Acadiana. And Acadiana only had 7 shots all game, only 3 of which were on goal. You also forgot to mention the absolutely terrible offside call to deny St. Michael a goal in the third minute that should have been the winner. Acadiana also lucky referee missed an elbow to the face in the box that would have warranted a striaght red. Even if Acadiana had the lion's share of possession our keeper only had to make 3 saves so the Rams were not very efficient with that possession. Our boys earned a win on the field today, and Acadiana is fortunate to be walking away with a draw. Acadiana: about 75% possession, 7 shots, 3 on goal St. Michael: about 25% possession, 2 shots, 2 on goal The ball spent the majority of the game in the middle of the field with neither team creating many threatening attacks.

Who will be efficient with possession on these fields! Your keeper made 8 saves!! It was absolutely 90/10 in possession which is why you didn't mark a shot on goal! A ball rolling into the box isn't a shot! Not sure if the crisp wind dried your eyes and obscured your vision but I assure you, St Michaels did NOT have a shot much less TWO on goal ! On a dry field, this is clearly a 5 goal game! Care to play a friendly on another day?

See how easy it is to pretend!

You can believe that fantasy account of the game all you want, but that is not what happened. Based on some of your heavily-biased nonsense posts in the past about other teams starting fights with Acadiana, I have far more credibility than you. Would Acadiana beat St. Michael most of the time? Yeah. Did they today? No.

i so prefer getting a game report from two (dissenting) set of eyes.... I LOVE IT!! i don't know if these two were seeing the same match, but i can piece together what happened in the match using parts of both reports.
it's too bad when weather/field conditions plays a major role in the outcome....

So Acadiana had better possession but didn't finish chances. St Michaels held their own and almost came away with game.
Score is still 0-0

Warrior is right! St Michaels clearly won possession, shots on goal, corners...he is absolutely correct and forgive me for offering the ACCURATE account that I charted with my Maxpreps scoring sheet! Kade Kling had 4 shots on his own that he kicked into the keepers stomach! Our LM kicked 3 into the keepers hands and two wide. CM hit one over the top and one into the keepers hands. LB sent three over the goal. CB late in the game hit two wide right and one over the crossbar. Our striker missed one left. That's 16 by my count and 8 on goal. It's 45 minutes after the game has ended and I'm sending this info off my sheet. How could I possibly remember so accurately? The only time the ball was in the middle of the field was when Acadiana sent it back to switch fields or re-start an attack! SM never put together more than 4-5 passes consecutively! But....your credibility will absolutely change my paper! Working on the corrections now! Can you come keep stats for us all year? I'd enjoy watching more of the game!

So the truth of the matter is that both teams played on the same field in the same conditions, emotions were high, it was a physical match, the final score was 0-0.
