Division II, District 3 won't be decided until 2/2 (Leesville @ Bolton, 530pm).
Bolton has clinched at least a share of the district championship (7-0 heading into last game). Leesville can become co-champions if it wins out (5-1 with 2 games left: DeRidder on 1/29 and Bolton on 2/2).

Now that it seems Bonnabel tied Helen Cox twice this week, I believe Grace King has mathematically clinched the district title now. Can anyone from that district confirm this?

The coach at Bonnabel told us that the district rules don't allow for ties for district rankings so right now I think the district standings are Bonnabel at 11-1 with King at 10-1 going into the W. Jefferson game. He did say that King has the tie breaker over Bonnabel with goal differential though. That would mean that King will win district with Bonnabel as the runner-up as long as they don't lose to West Jefferson. I think the district rules need to be looked at since they seem to be different from LHSAA in regards to ties, and that is where the confusion seems to be.

DI District 3 1) Lafayette 2) Acadiana
Hard to tell on cell phone display but looks like Acadiana was announced as district winner when in fact, it is Lafayette.

I'll check it when I get home and fix it if there's a mistake. Sorry about the remark earlier in the year, man. Hope we can put it behind us.

If I am not mistaken, Centrsl and Destrehan will be co champions in 1-7 with Terrebonne 2nd due to an East St. John loss to Thibodaux. Had East Saint John won that game, there would have been a co champion and a co-runner up. Would've been a sight.

Updated. Looks like Central Lafourche and Destrehan could be co-champions in 7-I if both win out. Actually there is a tie breaker in the district I'm not sure how it goes and what's the details, but all I am sure of is that if Destrehan gives up 1 goal no matter how many they score they will be runner up in district and Central Lafourche will be champions but if Destrehan shuts out HL today then Destrehan will be champions and Central Lafourche will be runner up. I think the tie breaker is goals score divided by goals allowed with a max of five goals allowed/scored a game

Bolton wins district championship in Div. II, Dist. 3. Leesville finishes as runner-up - I don't envy the team that draws the Wampus Cats in the playoffs.
Final Standings 1. Bolton (8-0) 2. Leesville (6-2) 3. Tioga (4-4) 4. DeRidder (2-6) 5. Peabody (0-8)

Everything should be just about right at this point. With the Menard forfeits causing a mess in 3-III I'm not sure who the runner-up is there. Maybe Grace Christian.
