Not sure how Haughton (2-11-0) is even on this list. Someone should have their voting privileges revoked.

Somewhere along the way, a win was omitted for Brother Martin. A fan pointed it out & I compared to LHSAA and have modified the record above to 9-2-4 to match the LHSAA records.

There is simply no reason that Haughton should be listed. If situations like this and the one earlier this month with St. Pauls continue to happen then I see no point in continuing to post this poll. No disrespect to Haughton but they still are 2-11-0.

It isn't about a point being off. I think everyone would agree Haughton shouldn't be listed so that isn't a big deal by itself, if it is a mistake. But when you have someone ranking St Paul 8th for a few weeks and now Haughton AND Holy Cross are in the poll it calls into the question the competence of the voters and the LHSCAA that produces this poll. You either have someone with no integrity or someone incompetent placing votes. Either way, I would suggest removing them from the process. This poll really is a nice thing to have and adds some perspective in the power ratings age.

Like I said before, Hammond and Haughton are next to each other in the drop down menu coaches use to vote. I'm all for calling out lack of integrity and incompetence, but there's also a third option, right? The coach believed that someone else was the 15th best team and/or that St. Paul's wasn't the best team in the state. Both I may not agree with but don't think it immediately calls for abandoning the process or removing them. But then again, it's not my call........

So, I wonder if the same guy had 4-11 Holy Cross ranked 14th? Or are there 2 of the 10 voters that think they are 15th?

Top 2 DIII teams did nothing to change their positions in their match-up tonight. Maybe now Newman gets first place votes. Also who is University's lost to? They were playing Jesuit on the field right behind us at Showcase while we played Northlake, so I got to see a bit of the game. U High scored in the first few minutes. Jays equalized late in the first half and scored the winner in second half stoppage time. Good game.

Menard's record should now be up to date after factoring in the 7 forfeited results (although St. Louis loss doesn't change). Their record went from 14-5-3 to 9-11-2, with 5 wins and 1 draw being replaced by 6 losses.
The only teams currently in the polls to be affected are St. Frederick's and Rapides, whose records should also be up to date.

Catholic N.I. record should be 12-4-4 not 11-4-4 due to the win vs Lafayette Christian 3-0.

The last poll coaches should rank all 32 play off teams in their division. It will be interesting to see that vote versus PR rabkings. Whose the computer wiz to set that up?

I'll leave that to someone else. I'm hoping to try to have a March Madness type competition this year if I can find a free and easy one to setup. Stay tuned! We'll use PR rankings, but everyone can predict the distance...
