I have counted 16+ teams with less than 15 games played.. The least is 4 by covenant Christian. My question is should wins against these teams be used in calculating the power ranking?
Another snag in system??

My question is should wins against these teams be used in calculating the power ranking?
Because it would hurt the winning team?

Because it would hurt the winning team? Why wouldn't they count? Those teams playing less than 15 games can still qualify for the playoffs.

You can get more points from beating a 4-6 team than a 1-20 team anyway. I was just trying to find the reasoning behind the question. Was the person asking because the feeling is that it would hurt the winning team's PR because the other team may not have many wins or was there another reason?

I think a min game requirement is needed. Play 15, that's all they need to do. Look at belle chase ranked 13 but played fewer than 15 games, their wins should not count for anyone. Also win point in power ranking needs to be increased to 7.5 or above. Ex Win a game against a 0-16 team in your district, gets the winner 5point, loser ( 0-16 team) gets half wins of the winner, if the winner wins ten games, even..draw? or yet say winner wins 18 game, loser just got 9, winner 5 ....something just don't jive with that!

Oh, I agree. Currently, we (Lakeshore Boys) have 12.5 wins (11 wins + 3 draws) and Franklinton has 1 win. We received 6 points for beating them; while they received 6.25 for losing to us! We must play them twice in district. I think it would be interesting to see an opponent's opponents' records incorporated into PR (not sure the feasibility of this though - it may prove too difficult a task).
