Dominican GK is the best I've seen this year. Without her 5-0 SSA. DOM has the advantage on set pieces too. Still think SSA wins by 2 or more.
Advice to the Doves. Remember BARBE! I still hear BarbeDad blaring "Amother one Bites the Dust" after the game.

Advice to the Doves. Remember BARBE! I still hear BarbeDad blaring "Amother one Bites the Dust" after the game. Not the first or certainly not the last time I step on a few toes!! Coach Curtis and I still reminisce on how Barbe had no chance of winning that game but just goes to show that a lucky bounce and a player in the right spot that scored 2 goals that season and then hold your breath and Barbe is moving on and one of SSA's strongest teams was going home.

What happened in the first meeting? Does anyone have a recap? I know Dominican won but how was the possession, shots, etc.?

SSA will win by showing up according to the comments on this board. highly doubt anyone believes that.

How did SSA ever get one loss and three ties, I just don't see how Dominican can compete against the best team ever. Since the last couple posts were obviously directed at my comments on the PR thread yesterday, let me just try to clarify and then be done with this: yes, as a neutral, I believe SSA clearly deserved the #1 playoff seed in DI based on their resume from the regular season -- but I never said they walked on water or would beat other good teams just by showing up. I never even predicted who would win the state tournament. If it makes you feel better, there is something I always liked about Dominican and Coach Al and I'll probably be slightly pulling for them tomorrow. But since I'm not associated with either program, I just hope it's a great showcase of soccer in the semifinals and for the best team to win. My pick is SSA in a tight game, but obviously Dominican has a chance if they already beat SSA this year. Sometimes you never know what can cause a tricky matchup. The sarcasm toward SSA isn't necessary, you never see their fans or coaches coming here to whine about their ranking and I'm sure it had no impact on their state of mind in the playoffs. Every team knows they will eventually have to beat the best to be the best. I apologize if those comments were offensive to anyone about the seed they received, maybe I worded things too strongly, but I think you interpreted far too much about my feelings for certain teams.

Any school that is too good to have a mascot should not even be allowed to compete in postseason play.
Doves for the win 9-0

Just hope rain holds out, so the crowds come and enjoy a good football game. Looking forward to seeing this one!

This is great as many people can not make it to the game due to the time of the game and work. I wish all playoff games were scheduled around six in the evening or later to give people a chance to go see the game. For that matter, I wish the regular season games were scheduled later in the evening so parents could see their daughters play.
