Good game. Hard fought by both teams. Lakeshore keeper was outstanding. This could have been 4-0 or 5-0 if not for her. Good luck to Loyola and Coach Matlock next week In the final.

Well that four years went by faster than I could ever imagine. Some up some downs but still loving the beautiful game. Onto college to watch my favorite player.
Good luck to all those teams still playing and will play next week.
Our best for Lakeshore soccer to continue to progress in the coming years.

Solid victory for Loyola. Refs let them play - to the advantage of Lady Flyers. Loyola controlled about 60% of play & if not for some outstanding play of goalie, could have easily been 4-0. Lakeshore had one goal called back for offsides with about 5 minutes left. Other than that, they made no real threats on goal.

4 minutes due to lakeshore injury Great game by Loyola, they played better, they deserved the win. Generally a very classy bunch. But, in reference to the "Lakeshore injury" mentioned by Patriot fan, it appeared to me that a Loyola player deliberately dropped a forearm shiver to my daughter's ribcage and accelerated before a collision. Now, it might or might not have been deliberate, but calling my daughter the b-word thereafter, that was deliberate, and not very classy. This stuff isn't needed in the game.

To me it didn't look deliberate , but it was hard to see clearly since there was a lot of action and movement in the area. As far as the words, and by no means would I defend what is reported above , but the stories of verbal exchanges my daughter has told me over the years does resemble things you'd hear at an MMA fight. And as an FYI, I am a Parkway parent, surely cheering Loyola as I know most of the kids on the team, but not so much that it would taint my view of the game. Overall it was a cleanly played game, with both teams leaving everything on the field for their school. It was a great match to watch, definitely 2 of the top 4 teams in d2
