It is my understanding that another proposal similar to Ray's design is being put forth. I for one hope that we still split. There is nothing stopping you from playing FHS, NHS, or MHS as many times as you like. The fans will show up for those matches no matter what. As for District, who said it had to be two rounds. The reality is, the number of rounds can be determined by the districts. This freedom to schedule whomever you like can bolster your power rating. You can even schedule powerhouse squads home and away within the same season. On the surface, I don't get being opposed to the split. To each his own though. One thing is for sure though, 7 schools on the northshore can agree to do this and the LHSAA may still ignore them. Let's see if the LHSAA really listens to its principals.

III-7 looks to be a very challenging district. Seems to be a bit of traveling involved but that's kind just something that is driven by geography in this particular area no matter what grouping you go with. Should make for some fun games.

I created districts in a four division set up last night that had so much logic involved that I self imploded. I'm ok now.
I'm sort of enjoying my new sit back, laugh and point gig. Really helps with trying to comprehend the LHSAA at times.

Original. You're far too young of a whippersnapper to be jaded by the big bad LHSAA. Look at the strides you've made on the adult side of LSA. There's no whiny-baby-LSA- loJic. You think the boohoo-LHSAA- loJic will spring all into reasonable action? Interesting take.

Pine should have played up which may have led to a northshore district with them, Pearl River, Franklinton, and Independence. I wasn't aware that Bogalusa had a team but if so, them as well.

Anybody on here from Thomas Jefferson? Any push to have them included in district with other West Bank schools instead of NOLA/Northshore?

Well, it looks as though the LHSAA ignored the wishes of the principals on the northshore. Who could have seen that one coming.

That is the way the northshore football district has been for over a decade. I'm not sure what you're complaining about?

We are not discussing "football". In short, the LHSAA is supposed to represent its member schools through its principals. They, in turn, represent their coaches. That doesn't seem to being done here. The principal's, and therefore, the coaches, seemed to have been ignored. Being heard by the powers that be seems a valid concern. It is something any school would want to address. Additionally, all principals should have their vote valued equally...including Bonnabel's.

Chelsea 007,
My athletic director relayed to me that the majority of the principals in the Northshore district voted to stay together. I believe the exceptions were just the two schools that proposed the change and the Mandeville principal was on the fence, but being that they didn't split the south shore district he was in agreement that our district should remain intact as well. Again hear say from my athletic director but it sounded to me that LHSAA listened to the principals.
