Rams will bid quickly and often. Mid and backs will be on their heels . #10 due for breakout . No skin in the game. Acadiana 3-nil I agree with this 100%

Acadiana 2-0. Goal from Sal Colin as well as Kade Kling. Jesuit gets 1 shot on goal the whole game. Will be 1 red card. Acadiana 2-0 over Jesuit. St Paul's 3-0 over Mandeville. St Paul's 2-1 over Acadiana @ Tad. Is this what your crystal ball predicts?

Correct me if I am wrong. But why do so many people think Acadiana will win easily? Brother Martin beat them 2-0. Lafayette beat Acadiana 3-1 and BM beat Lafayette. All these outcomes point towards a Jesuit win. No?

All these outcomes point towards a Jesuit win. No? A few things about your comment: 1. Acadiana - Brother Martin was the very beginning of the season. BM scored two goals - both were defensive errors where the ball was misplayed by defense. They were tap in goals off miscues. BM had 4 shots on goal versus Acadiana's 14 - Acadiana simply didn't finish well that game. 2. Acadiana beat Lafayette (4-3) one month prior to the district matchup that Lafayette won. The game was not as close as the final score indicates. Acadiana completely controlled the game. This is a fierce district rivalry where records are thrown out of the window. 3. Acadiana played their poorest game of the season against Lafayette while Lafayette played arguably, one of their best. Can Jesuit win? Certainly! They are a talented team. But you cannot judge based on past performances and head to heads because the final score on paper doesn't always reflect the play on the field. It will be an entertaining game for sure!!

Can't see this being a very high scoring affair. I'm guessing a 1-1 final with Jesuit in PKs to set up, yet another SPS Jesuit final. Would be interesting to see a new team in the final though. Question, if there is a red card, does that player get suspended for the final? If so, that has to be in the minds of some of the players and coaches throughout the game.

This years final will be a public vs private or public vs public. Those private vs private days are gone. IDGT

All these outcomes point towards a Jesuit win. No? BM beat Acadiana on a beach. The field was covered in holes and sang was all the way up to the 18. By far the worst field o have ever seen. And they were missing their starting cb #5. Also Acadina did beat lafayette earlier in the season which you probably knew just didn't want to put out there. That was a district match, with terrible calls, and LHS got the win. These outcomes don't point to a Jesuit win. You can't base it off old game and scores. It's playoffs Ya retard, it's a whole new game now. Easy on the "insults" before you're the one getting the card. Pick up what I'm putting down?

Whoever scores most goals will win. Whoever doesn't will be on here blaming refs, field conditions, the other fans.....
I know I am right about first thing but hope I'm wrong about second. Although it will probably happen.

Agree time2retire.....it will be an entertaining match without question! Don't resort to put downs to prove a point. As stated in the old show Dragnet...."Just the facts ma'am !" Keep it light and entertaining!

The pitch is good at Bill Dotson Stadium. The refs will be neutral. It will be fun to watch!

OK here is my two cents. First I have probably seen and or been involved with more Jesuit vs Acadiana games than anyone on this board. I don't think the chances are high that this will be a high scoring game or that one team will win by more than 2 goals, (one is more likely). There is a long history between both teams in the semi's and the finals going all the way back to the late 1990"s For the Ram fans predicting a big win, WATCH OUT! Jesuit will show up to play and give the Rams all they want. I have already said Rams by one and I'll stick to that, either way it will be a fantastic game to watch. I hope to be there. GOOOOOOOOOO RAMS!!!!!

Jesuit will win a close one. Their players have even more incentive to win after one of their own broke his leg against BM. Expect them to be hungry

Tell me about that player with the broken leg. Was it on a challenge?
