Is it just me or has the weather been extra problematic this season?

Is it just me or has the weather been extra problematic this season? It is definitely not just you. Lots of delays, reschedules, cancellations, etc. More than I can remember in the last several years.

Out of curiosity, I looked at the new schedule. The rest of the prelims and semis will be kicks from the mark on one of two turf fields. I know this is probably the last thing the tournament wanted to do. It stinks for all those involved.

SU14B won & lost coin flips in final two games. Finished 1-1-1. Disappointing weekend, but understand the decision.

It is really a shame that they couldn't even do kicks from the mark today and had to resort to coin flips . . .

I wonder if they could have done indoor kicks? Can you imagine traveling from South Carolina and have your fate determined by a coin toss? I'm sure they tried to think of everything and realize that they can't control the weather but this had to heartbreaking to those teams that lost the tosses.
