Is this a district game? If so, that's a very bold choice by both coaches to schedule a potentially title-deciding match for the opening game of the season.
I won't be surprised at all if these teams meet deep in the playoffs. We played both of these teams last year, and both were excellent, and return many guys back for this season. I would say Franklin was slightly better than EJ last year, but EJ was composed of almost all underclassmen. They should be very good this year and in the seasons to come. And of course Franklin always has to be in the title conversation under Coach Ferrand.

No district. I think EJ lost 5 starters from last season but return a good core.
Both teams have the potential to be dangerous.

Country Day'a coach just texted me saying he's on the edge of his seat with such impeccable game calling. Thanks coach! He meant the referee
