Hey aderitter, good stuff as always. Do any of you know who votes on this stuff? I'm mostly asking about the TDP related proposal. If school admin and football coaches push this stuff through, will there be anyone there to speak on either side to explain it to them? There are likely principals in Louisiana that don't know what MLS is, let alone MLS Next. Also, I'm pretty simple. Who would be opposed to counting the MLS Next as a qualified league and letting these players/coaches make that decision?

LHSSCA is heard within the Executive Committee and with the LHSAA in general. Still, Principals determine policy and many of them are influenced heavily by football because, like it or not, football pays a lot of the bills in the school. Things are much better now then 40 years ago.... yea I'm old. If, and I hope when, soccer pays the bills, the Principals will understand us and our needs a bit more.

Are you able to provide us with details like if this went to vote this week or if it will be in January? If passed, players would be able to participate with high school and club (TDP) same as NPL (league after mid-south) and showcase tournaments?
