Hello, I am looking for advice on what is the best program to keep track of stats throughout the season. Something that I could run from my tablet during the game to record stats. Any apps or programs that are reccommended? Thanks

I downloaded SoccerMeterPro from the app store for my iPad. It has an easy format that allows you to track both teams stats if you want to, although I normally just track shots and SOG. You can add all your players on the roster, and it keeps total stats through the season. I find it is too hard to try and use all of the features (e.g. first touch and possession), and honestly if you want to keep good stats you probably need someone other than you that is devoted to tracking the stats so you can actually follow the game from a tactical/substitution perspective.
If you want to follow minutes played for each player, I actually like Coachit Soccer from the app store. I used that one when i was coaching, but I focused on seeing which players had been on the bench (in minutes), even though it does allow you to assign things like goals and such to specific players. Once again, the more dedicated stats person can get more use from these tools. I paid for both of them but they were both worth the money. SoccerMeterPro is probably better from an overall team/opponent performance level but you might only need Coachit Soccer.
I hope this helps. There may be some very new apps that I have missed over the last year.

Can't beat iScore soccer app
Live scoring link so parents not there can follow game in an ESPN Game Center type webpage.
Also tracks any stats you can imagine.
Also keeps from session to season as you add a new league year and update roster
Also can be linked to twitter account and update as stat put in
Also is one of apps uploadable to maxpreps for high schools
