This st amant and championship talk needs to chill. For a team that has never even made a semi-final 🙄. Lots of good soccer in the state.

With a weekly top 10 and now just about a weekly PR coming out your team can't fly under the radar all year. Coaches know your team is good and scout them already. Embrace the good thoughts about your team. Use it to keep your boys motivated. You are doing a good job and folks see it. Keep it up and good luck the rest of the season. Hope you guys at least get to semis this year. Might want to rethink where you play home games though. Just a thought but I think your team needs space to operate with all that speed.

hahahaha LEAVE THE PIT? BLASPHEMY I know but it seems to confine them. It it would have been great if Cajun would have included a soccer stadium at those fields.

Today’s polls show the balance of power. Flip a coin. Almost every game is being decided by a goal or a tie amongst the top 15 teams in D-1. West Jefferson can play with anybody on any given night as can Mandeville. Lots of great soccer left to play and a ton of coaching talent has finally made it into the high school ranks. I know kids love their club soccer but nothing will mean more to them than the games played with their life long friends and classmates. Pride is a power tool that can carry a little less talented team to rare heights. Good luck to everyone this week and keep those updates coming.

You saying you think the Gators got the components to likely win it all then? St. Amant had the pieces last year and wet the bed. They lost too much with three All-state players. No chance of beating the big high powered catholic teams. The top 5 polls should be as follows: Jesuit St. Paul Dutchtown Lafayette Northshore That’s my perspective and I’ve watched each of them more than once.

how come lafayette , St amant, and duttchtown, are so good. they are public?
BRH doesnt have a big athletic, select club population to recruit from. For alot of these schools, their teams all play on the same club team. BRH has more minorities who dont have transportation, money, and time for club soccer.

Maybe they have summertime sleepovers or all get pedicures together. IMO your best ball handler and scoring threat makes your last statement very wrong and he proves that every game. There are some very good teams out there that can be beat. Dutchtown and EA both wanted it and got leads against St Pauls. If you want to be that dark horse - and you guys are very well capable - you will find time. A creative mind will find unique drills to improve skills.

St. Amant and Dutchtown each have 15-18 club level players with about half being Black level. I'm not sure about Lafayette but would assume it's very similar. The next part is the coaching. They both have C license coaches that know how to place the kids into good roles or formations that fit their pieces.
