#11 with yet another great individual run and almost gives an assist. #11 for Catholic is just an awesome striker. That’s got to be the left footed striker. I think his name was Gage?

Poor effort by some of the DTown players in the 2nd half. Total letdown. And credit to Catholic for battling to the end. Definitely showing resolve.

This game was a great example of a team never giving up. Two Amazing teams that will definitely be in the mix at the end of the season. We are all done. Catholic 4-3 winners.

The strategy seem to change at the half for Catholic. They committed to a possession game and found #11 in the middle of the field and he showed to be as good as anybody in this game. Just a fantastic performance by both teams.

I think his name was Gage? his name is Garrett and I have to say he’s the most impressive player I’ve watched in a 40 minute span. He just took over the game and played so strong on the ball.

Final summary of the night. In the varsity game the wind was a major factor. Dutchtown scored 3 goals with it and Catholic 4. Catholic has a tremendous amount of talent in their program. I’m guessing that they have 15 black level players and 25 more that are red level players. The Dutchtown team is very good and I’ll say that a final 4 of Dutchtown, Catholic, Jesuit and St. Paul is highly probable. I need to see Northshore again but as it stands now those 5 are at the top. Then denham Springs and Lafayette make up the next grouping of teams and if Lafayette is clicking they may be the sneaky pick to win it all. Great night for Louisiana high school soccer when we can watch players like we saw tonight.

..think if D'Town can survive the first 15 minutes they will win. It's kind of interesting that this prediction went just the opposite with Dutchtown jumping on Catholic with the wind at their back and not only survived but thrived early. Then Catholic did the same in the second half. I'm still not sure that we will get to see a better game this season and the level of effort put forth by Catholics number 11 was superb.
