They may have re-run the PRs for the division with Calvary and Evangel, but not for the other divisions. That happened with the girls yesterday, when games in D IV also affected rankings for D I teams. It had to be pointed out to LHSAA after the brackets were released. They later revised the brackets — it switched the 16 and 17 teams in D I, which swapped the team that would travel in the first round between Captain Shreve and Fontainebleau.

We went up a spot, Evangel dropped two.

This has been absolutely fantastic. Thanks Waraz for everything that went into this. I can’t imagine it’s an easy job, but hopefully you understand it’s certainly not a thankless one. We really all appreciate your efforts this season.
I’m of the opinion that the PR seeding made this forum drop off a substantial amount. However, this thread and the daily updates have started to bring it back and add a level of excitement not just for the users here, but for the players and teams as well. Thanks again, and I certainly hope we can continue this in the coming years.

Just curious. Lafayette has a convincing win over Dutchtown and they fall one spot in the power ratings? How does that happen?

Just curious. Lafayette has a convincing win over Dutchtown and they fall one spot in the power ratings? How does that happen? First, "convincing" has nothing to do with PR. A 1-0 win is the same as an 8-0 win in PR.
Second, PR is the result of all the teams results on your schedule so anytime a team you played wins or ties your PR goes up. That is why your PR cannot go down if you do not play. Evidently the teams that Catholic had played did better the last day than the teams Lafayette had played.
Not sure if this helped and if not I am sure Waraz can explain exactly what happened since he has all the numbers.
Edit: Lafayette stayed 7 on LHSAA since they evidently do not understand math. PR, IMHO, should go to 4 decimal precision to prevent ties (only need to show 2). Odds are extremely high that small change would remove 99+% of PR ties without any further tie breakers.

Better watch criticizing LHSAA on here or you might get a nasty note.....
