Pick your top three who you feel has the highest chances of winning it all.

My picks
Episcopal Acadiana - How many games now unbeaten? 30 or so? Cupcake schedule mostly, but still
Episcopal Baton Rouge - Battle tested and could be better prepared than ESA
Newman - Seems like a drop off for Newman but they should always be a contender

I would watch Pope John Paul II. Very solid young team that is improving daily. They are able to play with pretty much anybody. Could be an upset special.
ESA is still the class of the Division and Parrish Anderson is a monster. ESA not as deep as last year, but the core is just plain better than everyone else.
D IV playoffs will be more interesting to watch the teams below the current Top 5. Lots of dark horses out there, and some higher rated teams could end up being very vulnerable to some of the "others". Dark horse teams that come to mind are Sterlington, Covenant Christian, St Thomas Aquinas, and Calvary. In the end I think ESA, Newman, Episcopal all make the semis, with one team coming out of no where

My picks
ESA- like others have said, just the best of the best in this division. Clearly the team to beat. They have had a very easy schedule which could hurt them when they play a tougher team in the playoffs.
Newman- I believe the second best team in this division. They have achieved some really good results this year.
Northlake Christian- a drop off from previous seasons, but you can’t ever count out this team. Last time they won state they were the 5 seed. Have the experience and are battle tested.

Episcopal BR has a solid team and will certainly be a contender. Many of their games ended via the mercy rule and we had the opportunity to see their young talent play. Starting 11 is a force that should not be ignored.

Episcopal Acadiana NUFF SAID! This isn't even close people! Usually agree... however, Catholic NI had them beat with 5 to play Monday night... 2 pks later they lost. But it is CLOSE this year with Newman and Cath NI goat. Not the runaway it was last year... but definitely they are the heavy favorite. and still... NO ONE has mentioned Catholic New Iberia in all this. They got healthy sometime in mid January and have went on a tear. Like I said, was 2 pks given up and 5 minutes from pulling off the upset and district crown over ESA. They are well coached, talented, and very hard to break down usually. Seems like no one is giving them a chance but I think they are well equipped to make a nice run this year. Of course everyone mentions Newman, Northlake, Episcopal and rightfully so... but Catholic NI is gonna make some noise.

Episcopal Acadiana NUFF SAID!! This isn't even close people! You have to take into account that the teams from Baton Rouge and New Orleans usually field more experienced and tested players and this typically shows in the playoffs

Yes I am new to the board and I just assumed that "Nuff said" meant that one had already said "enough" on the topic, but obviously I was incorrect. Just learning.

While the title run might not be a run away like last year I still think the number 1 seed will win it! Best coach in Div 4!

Let me put in my smelly 2 scents and make the “Coach of the Year” case for Coach Danny Clavier of Pope John Paul II. Has any team in ANY Division made as strong a turnaround as the Jags?!? Last year 4 wins and not even a playoff opportunity to this years 15-4-2 record,undefeated/unscored on in District. First defeat of Northlake in more than 7 years and First District Championship for PJP Boys Soccer In 17! years! and with only 3! Seniors. Coach Clavier has earned the right to be in the conversation. I couldn’t agree more. The future looks bright for PJP! Go JAGS!

But I can admit when I see a team that clearly rises to the top in talent and ESA has proved this throughout the playoffs. I think ESA beats Northlake easily and goes on to win state in the same manner.
