Coach, I didn't say that the LHSSCA was biased. I asked if anyone thought it was biased. Personally, I think the LHSSCA poll is fair and not biased. This is based on the impression that the poll is conducted by coaches who have the experience and expertise to select a ranking by the association. I am only trying to shine a light in a constructive manner of the bogus ranking system of the LHSSA. I recently made a post on another thread that contained SOME details of my concerns. By other posters comments, I became aware of how it is manipulated coaches through scheduling and false enhancement of numbers. If one thinks that it reflects that it has anything to do with computing a power ranking, they are totally oblivious of what is what in regards to a true power ranking. Coach, good luck to your team in the playoffs. I saw your team play twice this year and thought they were very talented and disciplined team. Matter of fact. I approached you at the Lions Cup on the Saturday and complimented you. Believe me, that is something that I never do. I misunderstood your original post then. If you thought it was an attack on you, I apologize. It wasn't meant as an attack. I was actually just curious if you thought it was biased or not. Thank you for the kind complements on the team. We're young and still learning. Hoping for a good run in the playoffs! No. I didn't think it was attack at all. Misunderstanding maybe brought on by my choice of words. When you use bias or bogus, people react different ways. I know this from a professional forum that I have participated for many years. I know when to put the flak jacket on.

Not sure how Dtown ended up ahead of Lafayette. They didn’t at least in the poll that counts 🤷🏼♂️ Looks like the coach's poll got it right

They didn’t at least in the poll that counts 🤷🏼♂️ Looks like the coach's poll got it right But that poll is sometimes not totally accurate as we have seen votes for teams that aren’t even playing or have 0 wins. So I wouldn’t totally trust it from top to bottom. But yeah looks like they got that one right. 🤷🏼♂️

I like the PR because it takes the human element out. It would be nice if they could do a combo. Maybe take the coaches poll and add points based on teams played and how they rank in the coaches poll. I.e maybe you get 2 PR points for each top 5 team played as ranked in coaches poll, 1.5 PR points for 6-10, 1 PR point for each 11-15 and .5 PR points for 16-20. It would add a strength of schedule and the coaches poll to the PR calculation.
