Long thru ball to ESA 9. Slide tackle takes him down for PK. Keeper makes initial save but rebound sent to back of net. 4-1

Wow. 😮
I know Northlake is always a good team, but this is a shocking score. What a performance by the Wolverines.

David vs Goliath and David came out victorious. Congrats to Northlake! Seemed like a hard fought match and well deserved.

David vs Goliath and David came out victorious. Congrats to Northlake! Seemed like a hard fought match and well deserved. I’ll give you underdog, but David versus Goliath is a bit of an overstatement. If there’s a team in division four that’s more athletic the NC I would be extremely surprised

Congrats Chetta! Not a bad unbeaten run for JB. And he’s done it with a kid that started the season as a 12 yr old in the middle of the field. The kid is really good, but athletically is at a huge disadvantage.

Congrats to Northlake. Coach Chetta continues to do an amazing job.
I feel they sometimes don’t get the respect they deserve. It’s been a very quiet 7 finals appearances in 9 years for them, which is the same as St. Louis and one more than Jesuit. Very impressive consistency.

If there’s a team in division four that’s more athletic the NC I would be extremely surprised I absolutely agree with you. I made the comparison based on the overwhelming belief that ESA would cruise to victory. Northlake are an extremely good team and very well coached. I saw them play at the beginning of the season, night and day difference between the team I saw that night and the team that won tonight. They are turning it on at the right time.

#18 is a 5’10” 15 yr old sophomore who scored 2 of the 4 goals...15 on Monday so technically started as a 14 yr old Congrats Chetta! Not a bad unbeaten run for JB.
