Lucky for St. Paul's I don't check these boards often, so I didn't see how many of their players and parents were predicting big wins or else I would have dropped a few more goals on them. We don't have much depth, yet still won without Jonny and a player who is joining us now that I believe will start (Shawn). It definately upsets the balance in midfield when we are missing Jonny since myself or Austin has to move up front. We haven't played particularly well all season, yet have won every game of importance. We've given up just 1 goal and that was a joke of a call against Covington. St. Paul's is extremely overrated and it showed when we battled them. Their defense is garbage except the goalkeeper, who keeps them in games. The return match will be close, but St. Paul's needs to remember they have to beat Northshore, Covington, and even Fontainebleau again before they think about us. We should be at full strength for our important matches at the end of the season and hopefully hitting a stride for the first time. To play poorly like we are and continually pull out wins in district should tell you something.

tyler had a goal in that game, just not enough
Slidell played really good, i watched the game and i was impressed, though Mandeville lost a player, it doesnt matter because a team of top 10 caliber should be able to over come that. Great game to both sides.
and waycool, you started posting in this thread after Mandy lost to slidell, but before you had your mouth shut. We'll see how yall do vs. Northshore tonight.
