The only problem is that they are not winning all the games you would expect them to.. my top 10: Division I 1. Jesuit- easy pick 2.Carencro- big win over lafayette.. some solid games 3.Lafayette- plays pretty sketchy in big games but still has the wins most of the time 4.Caddo- tears up the st pauls tourney.. won't stay too long this high though. 5. Brother Martin- ties almost everyone with no losses though.. impressive team but not so much with that many ties 6.Acadiana- only losses to carencro and teurlings. i cant ask much more from them 7.Rummel- kept jesuit 1-0, wins games when needed, i just dont like the comeaux loss 8.Catholic BR- killed st amant.. win and loss to vandebilt, loss to bro martin.. but still wins games 9.Fontainebleau- doesnt really play any top ten teams other than st pauls.. loses to newman again ( was the Jv playing again?). a tie with northshore to pks to win.. aight you moved down but your still stayin top ten 10.heres the shocker... Captain Shreve- wins games needed, nice squad.. only person that has there number is Magnet.. the loss to byrd was unexpected but i think itll be 3-1 if you ever make up the game. I expect to see this team shock some people in the playoffs. South/North quit your whining they will win until the meet one of the top 5.

Brother Martin tied Lafayette and Carencro. How do you justify Caddo being ahead of them when they proved they are just as good as the two teams ahead of them by tieing them?

Looks like the Top 10 will see another major reshuffling and possibly new names this week with at least 3 guaranteed losers to other Top 10s and 3 others (Fontainebleau, Catholic, and Caddo) facing strong challenges from Northshore, Dutchtown, and Byrd respectively.
Regarding Shreve, I don’t think anyone has their number. Probably their only chance to get back to the Top 10 hinges on how they do with Caddo next week, but regardless of that outcome, they will at least be a quarterfinalist and probably a semifinalist in the wide-open lower bracket of the playoffs.

I'm not quite so confident about Shreve being a lock for the quarters, or anyone else for that matter. In the bottom half Shreve could be playing Acadiana or Lafayette in the first round. Dutchtown or Catholic in the second. The only good thing about the bottom half is that Jesuit may not be in it. There are 12-15 teams this year in D1 that are all very beatable by another of those 12-15. Depending on the bracket any of them could get to the semis or we may see another first round matchup like Brother Martin-St. Pauls last year and you are heading home early. Should make for a fun last few weeks of the season and a great playoff tournament.

Mine would be 1. Jesuit 2. Br Martin 3. Carencro 4. Caddo 5. Fontainebleau 6. Acadiana 7. Lafayette 8. Rummel 9. Dutchtown 10. Shreve/Catholic/Northshore
I think Br Martin's probable loss to Jesuit will be forgiven.

Well, you never know. With the rate BM is going, it might just be another tie!! BM defense is real strong. Jesuit might not be able to break through.

BM has already beat Newman once before. Teurlings was anymans game in the fog. Fontainebleau was a tough game and well Grace King was a last minute scrimmage.

Tmorrow is the night that Caddo will have to prove if they deserve to be ranked at all. If they beat Byrd will not be taking only district but also making a statement that they do deserve to be ranked. Good luck Mustangs!

Will Lafayette's loss move them down any? Carencro is a good team so I don't think it should be much if any

I would definitely put Central Lafourche above St. Amant. But what does my thoughts count for. My prediction on next week's Top 10: 1. Jesuit 2. Carencro 3. Brother Martin 4. Lafayette 5. Fontainebleau 6. Acadiana 7. Caddo 8. Rummel 9. Catholic BR 10. Captain Shreve/Byrd/Dutchtown/St. Amant There is no way I see St. Amant creeping in the top 10...
