This is a reminder that there is no referee bashing allowed AT ALL!! If I can ask, what game are you referring to as to warrant a reminder of this? Was there really more than one game this week that the officiating coordinators got the matchups wrong. If it really needs to be mentioned, you do need to have at least one qualified official on each crew that does a match. Get two unqualified officials on the same match and you have many problems. My main concern with unqualified officials is player safety on both teams. I don't mind every touch being called a foul as long as it's consistent, but let just about everything go and then try and guess what direction to call a foul is out of line. Delete this post if you want. But, it's not going to improve the level of the officials ability to fairly and safely do their job. I'm sure there are many players and coaches (and even parents that know the game) that feel there needs to be a better way of qualifying officials to be head referees or officials that do the dual thing. Anyways, officials are just as responsible for the players safety as the coaches. When is anyone going to start to hold them accountable for their responsibilities?

It starts with the assignors.
Call the assignor and give feedback, or ask that the official not return as a center referee.

My problem with the whole thing is there would be more qualified officials if the so called experts would stop complaining and go take the course to be an official. Ie. Parents and Coaches who believe they know every single rule and action that constitues fouls. When in reality they don't but they want to complain about the officiating but not make a concernable effort to improve it by getting out there and doing it themselves. We wonder why good officials are hard to come by, let see, association can't seem to keep officials long enough to build up enough experience to become better, because they are run off by the actions of the players , parents and coaches that act irresponsible and imature.
