the game started off with alot of kickball from both sides... each side would try to play their style but b/c of that the ball would end up just being kick due to different styles...
Cro had a more direct style of attack unlike LHS who would usually work the ball around using their defensive backs alot and shift the ball to the corners for forwards/outside-mids to run on to
LHS has had a problem finishing due to mis-shots and ppl not just pulling the trigger so they had opportunities but they either werent taken or werent taken advantage of (miskick)
Cro took advantage of the high line of defense that LHS gave them by sending balls to the corners or through balls to their forwards
Cro's goal came from a near post run by Trevor Thomas from a cornerkick *i believe* within a few minutes of the 2nd half
with 20-15 mins left in the game, LHS looked as if they were happy with a 1 goal loss... the team showed no desire to catchup to Cro.. the only spark uptop i saw that could've helped LHS was kevin hargrave who barely missed twice after he was put on in the 2nd half

lhs missing 3 starters, just replying to mrdash ohh that could explain some problems. who was missing and what positions? how long are they out? Martin Cheramie, forward, has not played yet this season, due to a broken ankle suffered in Sept. playing club ball (Coup de GrĂ¢ce) against BR. He may be back before the end of the season. Nick Hill, defender, twisted a knee against NISH and should be back in a week or two. Ben Amire had his tonsils out. Should be back next week. Kevin Hargrave just got back last night after having been out with a strained back. Consequently, the team has been having to try players at different positions and bringing up sophomores from the JV. This has affected the chemistry, but I am fully confident for the rest of the season.

"having to try sophomores..and try people at different positions"...heehee...welcome to our world...(i.e. the world outside of Lafayette and Jesuit/Brother Martin)...I agree with you, however....Lafayette will be around come playoff time and no one will "want" to play them.

having to tryout sophmores, oh gosh, i'd like to know the last time a sophmore or freshman has set foot on the pitch during a lhs varsity game, those things dont happen often due to the deepness of the bench...

Most of the sophmores that play varsity (at LHS) are playing much better than expected.
