stafalcon4show, first of all, that isnt out of the entire nation, its the teams that play in the winter, which is the southern states across the US... 2nd of all, nobody trusts those rankings because last year saint louis was number 1 in the nation and still didnt get any credit. people voted bad teams to beat them, and saint louis showed up and dominated, i know being nationally ranked is a great accomplishment but most people on this cite wont trust them.

i did not know that, and i didnt think a/b that it was teams from the south either, but if you think a/b it most good teams are from the south anyways, states like California, Texas, and Florida, are probably the best states in the nation for soccer, and i j/ thought it was a major accomplishment for Jesuit to be ranked 3rd, but i dont keep up w/ all that nationally ranked studd and i didnt know that ppl dont trust the rankings, and all a/b that other stuff... but i believe you, b/c i really didnt know much @ all a/b the rankings

I still don't understand why Episcopal isn't ranked higher. They are an easy top 5 team.

man, that really was a good one Shreve, im still laughing as i look @ this thing you call a "TOP TEN" I'm sure you are referring to my not including STA in the D3 top 10. That is most likely a mistake on my part but I haven't seen anything posted on the scores thread in a month. We still have the record as 5-4-1. According to flat3 it is around 10-5 or so. If I or someone else had done more checking we could have corrected that mistake. My mistake, even with me putting them at 5 or 6 it would not have changed their ranking. bpongdd had it correct, I don't follow D3 much since there are no D3 teams up here anymore. Good luck to your team, and once again sorry for the oversight.

yeah stafalconshow these rankings are not that important anyways, do something in the playoffs and show you deserve to get recognized by these people and rankings... and for an earlier topic i am against the national rankings either, i dont think they are 100% correct, but they are close enough for high school soccer... the bcs is never 100% correct either

(Referring to an omission of St. Thomas Aquinas) man, that really was a good one Shreve, im still laughing as i look @ this thing you call a "TOP TEN" I still don't understand why Episcopal isn't ranked higher. They are an easy top 5 team. I have seen both of them play against the same team (University). I pick St. Thomas Aquinas over Episcopal. I think DIII rankings are good except I'd put St. Louis above Newman. As someone wrote, who cares about rankings at this point, anyway?

Timaeus, I love how you pu caddo at 9, yet they haven't lost a game since you first started ranking them at #5 or 6 a month ago at St. Pauls.
But I do actually agree with your vote for Shreve. They are top ten worthy.
These ranking won't matter in a week though, so this is all pointless now. (good point flat)

Just curious.... If there were another weekly rankings, who should be ranked first for DIII??? Newman or St. Louis? Newman is ranked 2nd right now, and the first place team just lost, but St. Louis just beat the first place team, so who do yall think would deserve the 1st place ranking?

Timaeus, I love how you pu caddo at 9, yet they haven't lost a game since... Timmy is not a believer in N. La soccer yet, and that's okay. He's got Magnet and Shreve at 9 and 10 in Div I, and he has Parkway and Loyola at the bottom of his Div II list. Just be thankful these are not Top15 Lists!

Newman should not be ranked #1 or #2. They lost to St. Thomas Aquinas 4-0 this year. They simply are just not that good. Just to update the records St. Thomas Aquinas is 12-5-1 and the District 7 Champs in case anyone is creating a bracket already.

should saint louis pass newman or even pass teurlings after their beating of teurlings. Teurlings & St.Louis break even now after playing each other twice and both winning once (both the same score) but the previous scores and records w/ other teams might decide the placing of these 2 teams in Div III
