I wouldn't be suprised if Teurlings wins this game by 3 or 4 goals. I think that Opelousas Catholic is not to far behind Teurlings in ability, but I think that Teurlings will want to use this game as a statement game after the loss St. Louis. I could easily see Teurlings taking this one 4 - 1.

I think both teams are looking to make a statement. Teurlings for losing to St. Louis and Opelousas Catholic for being upset by Teurlings in the quarters last year. Plus everyone pretty much saying they dont have a shot at winning.

We have played both of these teams this year and I have to say that Teurlings seems to be the better team. We played OC for our first game of the season, scraping by them 1-0 in a close game. We played Teurlings later in the season and got beat 4-1. I feel like we played bad and could have reduced their score to only two or three. I think Teurlings great first touch will run all over OC's defense, no offense to them, they are a great team. The score will be at least 3-0 in Teurlings favor.

I have watched both teams play and I give the technical advantage to Teurlings. Revenge may be the deciding factor. OC is probably the more athletic considering B Boudreaux is still not 100%.
Both teams have weaknesses on the back line that they must fix in order to win.
TC 2- oc 1

TCH has a solid team...last year they beat an amazing St. Martin's team who should have won state...and would have beat TCH if it weren't for the weather and 2 keeper mistakes. However, that being said, they are a solid team...they are fast (espcially that kid up top) and strong on defence...if they haven't lost many people from last year they will win this game...

Revenge is always a motivating factor in playoff games that are fairly evenly matched. I like the payback angle in this match. OC has not seen much competition since district, but they are going to come out with the bitter taste of last year's defeat. This is the game of the round as far as DIII is concerned, and the entire rest of the bracket is pulling for OC, I would think in this one. Would be nice if someone can keep up posted during the match on this one.

Yeah that Saint Martins team would have easily beaten the undefeated national champs Saint Louis... but back to topic, Teurlings is the better team but a rivalry can always go either way.

2 totally different styles... Possession/Low Pressure Defense vs All out attack/ high pressure defense. I think Teurlings needs to control possession to win. Keep the ball in the midfield and they win. If they give an inch in the back, OC will take advantage of it. I think it will be one of the best games of the year in any division. I can not make a prediction... it just depends on who's style prevails. I think that OC will be better prepared this time if they get up by a goal or two late in the game. PLUS, you can not go by this team beat that one by this much but only this much over that one... Teurlings beat us 3-0 OC beat us 7-0 DOes that make OC better? NOPE! The only thing that will make one better than the other is this weeks game. Can't wait!

STM beat OC 2-1. Who does OC have to stop Teurlings' scorers? Matt Hebert and Seth Jarrell who are two good physical defenders and Oliver LeBlanc who is an outstanding goalie.

Actually it was 8-0 O.C. for whatever reason they did not put up one of the goals.
