How all of a sudden does Ruston seem to be a tough team to beat Ruston was ranked #10 according to Power Ratings, above Acadiana, St. Paul's. Even considering a Northern bias of Power Ratings, they were expected to put up a good fight. 17.99 Jesuit (1) 22 0 0 15.17 Fountainebleau (1) 19 2 1 15.07 Carencro (1) 15 2 3 14.68 Caddo (1) 22 3 1 14.39 Brother Martin (1) 13 3 8 13.89 Shreve (1) 18 5 2 13.79 Lafayette (1) 15 6 3 13.71 Rummel (1) 13 4 1 13.70 Catholic (1) 15 3 5 13.47 Ruston (1) 12 5 1 13.39 Acadiana (1) 14 5 3 13.36 C Lafourches(1) 16 5 1 13.00 St. Paul's (1) 14 9 0

ok...well first off...im not on here to talk trash im jsut here to say my peace and be done...I have played some of the best competition in the state as far as high school soccer...ive played every powerhouse outta district 3...the only one i havent played was ur rams goat...but we were suppose to...in the state semi-finals except that time yall were on the losing end of a PK shootout with jesuit...ive played Jesuit and brother martin...St. Thomas Moore...and of coarse all the north LA teams...but honestly...i mean i know northern soccer is nothing like south LA soccer trust me ive played in both...but something has to be said for the north...i mean when I graduated is when everyone was good in the north...2 north LA teams in the semi-finals in the same year i mean are u kiddin me! everyone thought it was a fluke...next year shreve makes quarters...u know its always been said on any given day a team can be beaten...but no matter what anyone says north LA has just as much heart and determination as the south...and the game is played the same way everywhere...90 minutes and no time outs...so you know im proud to say i played in the north and im proud that somebodys keepin us on the charts and i think we might be finally making a break through with the south showing that just cuz we might live in the country or our natural sport is football or whatever the case maybe...that we can still fight as hard and play just as fast and are just as talented as the kida from the south! so field conditions and fan support and water girls and the 9000 players that travel for the playoff games with the southern teams...no matter about all that...the north comes to play because we know we have something to prove! anyone wants to feel free to private message me i have no problem telling people who i am...if u wanna know just message me...My favorite match-up on february 24, 2007 at 7pm at Independence Stadium...is Acadiana vs. Jesuit....and i aint gonna have no blue on thats for sure!! Goat...maybe ull make the trip up! good luck to Acadiana and congrats to ruston...way to keep us on the map!
