opelousas catholic has a good forward/midfield in senior(#7). who scored twice vs alexandria.. oc looks to have another decent team but also pretty young.

Covington 2 - West Jeff 1 Well played match. The second Covington goal was a pk. In fairness, it may have been a little harsh . It was a judgement call. I will say this for the ref, he was in a very good position so it is hard to argue. This West Jeff team is the best one I've seen in awhile. Thaey played smart soccer. Kudos to the youngsters on our team. At one point we had 4 freshmen and three sophmores out there playing above their heads. Our upper classmen did a fine job covering for the few mistakes they did make. Good Luck to West Jeff on the season.

U-High defeated Parkview 8-0 Close, but not quite. The score was 9-0. Parkview looked very young. UHS scores: Micah Peters (3), Gregory Shaw (2), Michael Copeskey (2), William Major, Kenta Kamo
