Should be a good game, these 2 always play each other tough just for bragging rights. I'll be there as I'm sure many others in the area will also be there. You may want to get there early and watch the J.V. Some very solid players coming up for LHS, I'm not sure about AHS.

Over the years one could say throw the records out in this game. This is one of the biggest rivalries in the state. Lafayette has the talent to play with a talented Acadiana team but hasn’t played very well this year. I hope the rams don’t under estimate the lions because they might be in for a big surprise. I am planning on going so I hope to see a great ram lion match up. Good luck to both teams and I’ll see ya’ll at the game.
My prediction is rams 3 lions 1

Lafayette will come out with some intensity, but Acadiana is strong all around... I look for Lafayette's defense to step up in this game and be aggressive especially in the middle of the field.. Acadiana unfortunately for Lafayette has a good team.. Lafayette has depth though.. Acadiana wins this match but Lafayette gets some confidence back 3-2.. LHS just needs to score goals and everything will fall into to place

my prediction is that MH's hair will be absolutely perfect. I'm sticking with the old saying, the team that wins is the one that scores the most goals. I think that team will be (to be filled in later)

Ends in a tie 1-1. 0-0 at half. Goals by Juan "Buzz" Ochoa, assist Tyler Minix, and Barrett Broussard. Lafayette goal came on a classic header from the six from a cross near the flag. Broussard hit inside the farpost from an impossible angle, ricochet in. Lafayette had 11 SOG, 4 on frame and 2 posts, Acadiana 8 SOG, 2 on frame and one post. Brumley had 2 saves, Bourque had 8. Very physical game with 4 yellows for Lafayette (Brasseaux, Broussard, Efaw and Guilbeau) and one red for Acadiana (Saboe).

Must not have been an impossible angle if Lafayette was picking it out of the back of the net.

Must not have been an impossible angle if Lafayette was picking it out of the back of the net. For those of you who are not accustomed to it, this is called a compliment.

No apology, advocacy or devilry necessary. I was just trying to emphasize the fact that Broussard's goal was unbelievable. But I still believe it 'cause I saw it.
