I was told by the ref last night that the Crazies were causing the problem. I asked him exactly what were they doing--he said they were being loud. Um.....ok....and......?"
"Last night the Crazies were tickticktick boom Dynamite " The above quote from Coach Ray is a perfect example of how the responsibility of being a role model to students is put aside simply to fuel the ferver of the "pit crazies. Any comment made on this site should be written with the professionalism of a high school coach, a mentor to young adults. It is quite obvious that you struggle with this part of your job. Good luck with the rest of your season. I hope that I have provided you food for thought. You truly seem to be a Neanderthal in modern times.

Again maybe you should go to some of the St. Amant pep rallies where the head football coach and athletic director says "I want all you students out there to raise some hell." All in all I guess Ascension Parish schools are just classless and trashy in general. If by classless you mean yelling, screaming, and being loud.

Good luck with the rest of your season. I hope that I have provided you food for thought. You truly seem to be a Neanderthal in modern times.
sigh.......classic examples of how prose can be manipulated to redo context. First quote came after Independence game, when an Independence player got ticked off after my player juked him and the Indy player decided to take him down from behind. The offending player, who was the starting GK that got four quick goals scored on him and looked poor when they happened, had been taken out of the goal and put on the field. What had the crazies done after those four goals? Cheered--thats it. So that gives the player the right to become reckless, show bad sportsmanship and attempt to injure my player because he got scored on and my fans cheered? Give me a break. The opposing coach offered me an apology for his players actions after the match, and complemented my team on their show of sportsmanship after a very one-sided affair. Second quote was used to mimic an organized cheer that the Pit Crazies did during that match. See-- an organized cheer to support thier team--not abuse, not epithets, just a fun organized cheer. They all holler boom really loud. I think its cool. It was my way of recognizing their efforts to be creative and support our team. Has noting to do with fueling fires or whatever else. Are organized cheers no good now too? As for being the comment about being a neanderthal--a)guess that means I dont have any cool pink Izod polos in my closet like you teche--big loss there, and b) it explains the scabs on my knuckles from dragging them on the ground.

so teched80 is it a true sign of professionalism to ridicule other coaches, players, and the fans that come out to support their friends and the great game of soccer
just a simple question?

I’ve never heard of dock soccer either in 20 years of watching games. Can someone explain it to a novice?

There are many variations to the game. It really depends on the dock you are playing at as they all vary in size and obstacles. Goals are usually makeshift objects found at the dock. Loser has to get the ball out of the water.

Notice in the first pic the kid jumping off the dock on the right to retrieve the ball.
