I didnt know Broadmoor scored 25 goals all year long No really, I am a bit skeptical about that report. I dont believe that Broadmoor even scored on Salmen or Bishop Sullivan this year. That would mean dude scored 24 goals in 10 games (2.4/game). Even if he did knock 4 goals in on those 2 teams ( ), he still would have averaged 2 per game from then on. Granted he might have knocked a bunch in on Belaire, but after that--who else, and who else has Broadmoor even played? I am also skeptical, because that would mean either he scored all of Broadmoors goals, or that Broadmoor is a goal scoring machine that doesnt win much. Along with that--who is this kid? I've never even heard of him, and have never heard his name come up from other coaches. Either way, can somebody substantiate this, or is this a case of the new math? Poster with only one post also makes me skeptical too. .

If my sources are right Tommy last name? has 30 something lol...That would be Tommy HEBERT from OC has around 30 goals. I know OC also has aleast 2 or 3 more players over 15 goals. And 1 or 2 players with more than 15 assist.

Coach Ray, Broadmoor has scored 44 goals in 14 games. They play Belaire, Salmen, Bishop, and Zachary in district twice. They also played McKinley and Baton Rouge High. Just because you don't know doesn't mean it's not happening. Not the best team, granted, but they play their guts out. A team does not have to be ranked to be good. Let's face it, media coverage is absent concerning soccer and who knows who is doing what except by word of mouth or seeing the team in person.

He's number 2. He is a very skilled player but doesn't get much attention because he plays for Neville. He is very, very fast and has great ballskills. What grade is he in by the way?

actually, the most amazing thing is that he plays football, so only played about 2/3 the soccer season.

push him to his left(no left foot) and play physical against him and you will have no problem

Donald Delatte of Destrehan was likely the leading goal scorer in Div. I District 6. His presence and absence made a huge difference in games with Central Lafourche.

It's interesting that we haven't heard squat from Jesuit. Not to open a festering sore again, but if they scored 34 goals against St. Augustine alone, they must have the leading scorer in the State...Geezums. C'mon guys, you are the best of the best. Spill the beans...Has anyone got 4 hat tricks in one game or what?

Futebul is right about Walt, he doesn't have a great left foot and he is not physical at all. If you give him a push here and another push there, he will get frustrated and start messing up more.

The answer to your question LHSSOCCERFAN concerning Jesuit scoring is that Reece Thomas is the leading scorer with 17 goals ( from an article in today's Times Picayune ) It is also the answer to how a team can score 19 points without trying to run up the score. Jesuit has a very deep squad and any of the 25 members could probably start on any team in the state. They have an additional 25 memebers on the JV squad, many of whom would play varsity in other schools. Back these two squads up with talented 8th and 9th grade squads 0f 20 plus members makes for intense competition. This ads to how and why they scored the points they have on St aug. These subs (#s 18- 25 of the team) who seldom get to play take advatage and play hard on the few instances they do get in a game. Also note that whenever top stars or all state players are spoken of seldom are Jesuit players mantioned. It is about total talent, commumication on the field and team play. To further the point, if I am not mistaken each of the 4 Jesuit "Defenders " have at least one goal this season. The team pressures the opposition on all ends of the field from the first whistle to the game is over and what in most cases would be a long cleared ball turns into either a direct goal ( I've seen that twice--once against Rummel and once against St Aug ) or a one touch and score by the forward.
