None of the goals in this game were unchallenged or undeserved, i agree the PK was questionable but the following three goals were were well constructed, the 1st was the Pk, the 2nd was a header off of a great ball, the 3rd was a rip by Klienschmidt Jeuit's captain, and the fourth was a great finish after a caddo defensmen gave the ball away. Enough with the shreveport excuses Jesuit played well and with the exception of the PK the rest of the goals were completely legit. Not to mention after Jesuit subed in the 2nd string shreveport had a few chances the did not convert Jesuit without Mullins= very good Jesuit with Mullins=

I think the result shows how overrated Caddo is agreed Overrated? You're right, cause how else could they have beaten those other teams they played in this tournament. They were just outplayed by a better team on this day. The ball bounces the same for both teams and Jesuit took advantage of their opportunities. Let's not count out what Caddo did to get to the Finals. They too had a tough Bracket, and had to beat a VERY underrated Newman team. Jesuit was very much better on this day. All my credit goes out to what Jesuit did! Not what Caddo did or didn't. Great tournament Jesuit and good luck to all the teams in the future.

I have to agree with RHS Prior to the start of this tournament everyone said this was the toughest field ever assembled for a LA tournament. If making the finals given the quality of all participants gets people saying you are overrated, i'll take it. Magnet will be where they need to be come playoff time and everyone can yell overrated from their house after they get sent home.

Caddo shouldnt even be anywhere near mentioned with Caddo, You can say all that bad game b/s, but seeing both play, Caddo's ball movement isnt anywhere near the level of Jesuit, yet the runs made and finishing.

Jesuit outplayed Caddo and won the game, period. They are the #1 team.
However, I don't think you should count Caddo out based on one game. They have two loses in two years now, both against excellent teams. I'm not sure who all has beaten or tied Jesuit the last two years but I know it does happen. Magnet lost to Shreve last year and then won the next game 2-0.
I think there are 6 or7 teams capable of winning state. I know Lafayette has the talent. Catholic already has a tie against Jesuit and a win over Shreve. I heard St. Paul's has some injuries to a few of their seniors. This isn't a one team race by any means...
I think right now it's Jesuit at the top. Then there's Caddo and Shreve with a big game coming up. I do think there is some separation right now after the top three but I'm not convinced it will be that way come playoff time.
This will be a fun year to watch the playoffs!
I'm really happy for Caddo and Shreve to see where they are at this point in the season.

Well said, and I agree 100% Jesuit can be beat! but right now they are a claer #1 with Shreve and Caddo right on their heels. Remember last year Woodlawn was the gaint killer! It happened last year and it could happen again.

I just realize I put tie as part of a poll for a final...whoops. i think its funnier that someone actually voted for a tie.
