I agree but when you have the quality back lines of a Jesuit and St. Paul's we all sort of have to take it on faith that the guy between the pipes is quality since the other team is lucky to get a clean chance on goal.. I am sure they are great club players. fiend..... you can take it on faith but I have seen both play for a few years..... both Tadros and Hanley are among the top keepers in the state and region. Both have played well in club and ODP over the years. Hanley has been a regular Region III starter and has a handful of international matches behind him. I believe both young men are getting attention from D1 schools if I am not mistaken. Agree with quepasa.... acrobatics are fine and look really cool but the mark of a truly skilled keeper is managing your back line and making saves look routine. The key is not merely to watch them but to listen to the keepers direction to the defenders. Any athlete can be an acrobatic shot-stopper but a really good keeper makes it look easy.

Btw.....the one goal that was scored by Acadiana was a PK. Yes, Sal played most of the game. Said his leg felt fine. Glad to see him back in action.

Rossoneri made it to the quarterfinals of Dallas Cup last year. Interestingly, they lost in PKs to Chicago Magic PSG in the finals of the Disney Showcase back in December. So, it should be an interesting grudge match right out of the box

Will Barnett - St Paula....... hugely underrated due to the fact he has one if the best backlines playing in front of him. Please keep in mind that any kid can be a shot stopper. That is a function of athleticism. Many of the "highlight reel" saves you see these kids make are often (not always) the result of poor positional play. A keeper who understands positional play rarely has to make superhero saves. He is already in position to make a simple save. Doesn't look amazing so it doesn't get noticed. Understanding the game and directing the flow in the back is what sets the great keepers apart from the jocks. Barnett has that aspect of the game down.
