less than 4 minutes left in the first half.....Jesuit scores 1-0. Jesuit goes 1v1 after a throughball. Lafayette defense thought it was offside. Center and lineman discuss and goal stands.
Jesuit 1-0 3:35 left in first half

Apparently there is some problems with refs at halftime. People have been running back and forth from field to somewhere. No refs have come out for the second half. Not sure why.

OK, so apparently, the trainer for Lafayette is gone. He was red-carded after the offsides/goal fiasco. THere are some other things going on. The second half has not started yet. There is some discussion between the Lafayette AD, a lafayette player, center ref, and some others. Noone in the stands is really sure what is going on. I will post as soon as I find out something.
As far as the offsides, my contact was even with the defenders and the Jesuit player was a couple steps offside when the ball was kicked. The Lafayette trainer was also even with his defense and that's why he got mad. Either way.....right now it is 1-0 Jesuit and the second half is yet to come. What else would you expect from a game like this??

Never heard of anything like this in a H.S. game. Sounds more like something that happens in the third world. Was the ref from the Lafayette area?
