I'm sure it would have been a great game to watch....its a real SHAME that this game could not have been played at night where people could have travelled to see it. I heard that it was the Jesuit AD that had a problem so it defaulted to the 3:30 start time due to rules....anyone know anymore on that.

Goals:
Jesuit in first half - throughball to a 1 on 1 with the keeper. Jesuit up 1-0
Lafayette in the second half - Lafayette corner.....Jesuit defender pushes Lafayette player and ends up knocking two Lafayette players to the ground. Lafayette gets PK and scores. Tied 1-1
Lafayette in the second half - Lafayette gets a long throw in and heads it in. Lafayette up 2-1

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a well played game with no cards issued. Halftime was a different story. My info on the halftime "entertainment" is all hearsay from the stands and may not be accurate, but I did see a discussion by the police with a Lafayette player and his father. Then the referee came back on the field and the second half resumed. I won't give any hearsay info...only what I actually saw. The second half Lafayette seemed to be playing with more intensity. Both teams had chances to score but both keepers made some great saves. Ghandi was seriously tested and rose to the occasion. Foreman was magnificent with his throw ins. A great group effort by the Lions. Again it was a very well played game and both teams are to be commended. . . and despite the halftime delay it seemed to be a fairly well called game by the refs.

at no time was an official handcuffed. the center referee has a habit of walking and standing with his hands behind his back, showing non-confrontational. everything else is being blown out of proportion
